This new update is beautiful and runs great but all my mods break the game. I wish there was option on Steam where you can revert back to 0.38.6, I know its possible for the dev's to give us this option. There is no way to stop Steam from updating the game. For right now, I care more about my mods than graphics.

In my opinion, the game looks great and the new UI is fine. I think the load times are still horrendous, reminds me of the load times of GTA 5 on a Xbox One/PS4. This game would greatly benefit from "DirectStorage". I mention load times because as I was tweaking the graphic settings in Safe Mode (because mods broken), the load times were so slow that Windows kept thinking the game was freezing. Ironically speaking of GTA 5, the enhanced version eventually got DirectStorage support and that game is basically the same age as BeamNG.

PC Specs: AMD 5800X3D, 7900 XTX, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB

Edit: I should've added this to the thread in the first place. I tried, you cannot select 0.38 from the version list.

I like 0.34 better and il be going back to it until they fix the update because in my mind 0.34-0.38 was perfect

I mostly agree with this but this could end up meaning they’d need to support both versions while still in an alpha stage. I can understand why they’re wary of doing that as it could lead to more support needed, confusion online as to what the current game looks like, a modding community split between the two versions. If they start maintaining multiple versions "that early" (in terms of versioning at least), they could be shooting themselves in the foot. That said, maybe it’s just a matter of allowing players to download previous versions of the game and nothing bad will come out of it.
