looks like everyone wants the long wheelbase, that's gonna require some major rebuilding and i really don't feel like building the while thing all over again.
I could do some 3d work on it I don't really mod beamng but I have worked on spintires for a while so If you want it to be made longer I could do that
I still need to do a whole rebuild on the jbeam too, not just the mesh so its gonna be difficult to pull off after the whole thing is already built. How about this, I am now planning on doing this eventually, instead of doing the redesign I just make a new separate buggy(or offroad vehicle in general) with a long wheelbase(hopefully), make it 4WD, and make it an option to have street or offroad tuning(maybe). I might do a separate post talking about that plan soon.
Good news there may be a long wheelbase version coming soon! but its probably gonna replace the original version. I'm thinking about making it 4wd because just making the long wheelbase version isn't enough for handling improvements.
Now that would fix the instability issue I mentioned. Something like this had a long time coming, considering we really don't have a big, durable dune buggy in this game, unless you count the DSC Buggy that A. Isn't supported anymore, and B. Is more unstable than this thing is currently. What happened to the trophy truck from RoR I wonder?
UPDATE Its official, major update is coming soon with.... NEW long wheelbase replacement. NEW 4WD conversion (for more easier driving) Fixed yellow wanted to be purple (thanks YBR) Reverse gear is now higher so it don't stall

Let me just say that, on 100 Mile House, this thing is pretty much in it's element. Don't let me spoil it, though, because it's more fun to find out for yourself
Not sure if the new update caused it but some of the cameras (front and cockpit cam) are broken in the sandstorm. The side camera works though which is strange. I'll fix it eventually somehow.
I found what the spiky mesh is from, its just the jbeam error. I thought its from the mesh itself. It'll be fixed in the next update.
just wanted to throw out there that your graphics card shouldn't really determine your frame rate as beam is very cpu intensive not gpu intensive
I'm trying to make custom engine sounds (from my mouth) and it doesn't go very good, is there any proper way to make engine sounds?
INCOMING UPDATE! update includes: added chase cam added the front differential and the center drive shaft (because the 4wd update) added the front bumper (cosmetic mesh only) tweaked the suspension, steering angle, and the brakes fixed the mesh issue fixed the main dashboard clipping through the vehicle (although the gauges still clip through) fixed the wheel mesh being out of place added something a little special, look for it to find out.
