I have a little problem, whenever I tweak the rear pre-compressed spring, it somehow affects the front hub only. what should i do? There's actually nothing I can do if the nodes and beams are right. Anyone that is an expert on this help me? I'm gonna pause this progress till this is fixed.

    UPDATE

Sorry for not updating in a while, suspension troubles (fixed thanks to @Darren9 for teaching me suspension geometry) and was taking a break from modding a bit.

Anyway I got the car in game and driving although handling needs alot of work because driving it is really unstable, not sure if its the engine, the suspension or the wheels. I got the steering wheel from the sandstorm in game which I know its basic but its better then nothing. Even though theres the bumper in game, the jbeam is not set yet and I'm gonna use it as reference.

More progress coming soon. (when I have time :p)

EDIT, I just now realized I made a happy car. :p

    MINI UPDATE

Here is the wheelbase difference between the vortexx and the covet.
    screenshot_00038.png
Let me know if this is too short because I don't know whats the good wheelbase for a stable buggy.

you might need to extend the wheel base in length other than that looks amazing as a dual sport buggy

Real car makers do that, so that is not abnormal. It is better, and more efficient, to work on new stuff than redo something that works. Can't wait for a release, it looks really promising!

    UPDATE

First off something really cool, the option to color the roll cage.
    screenshot_00048.png
Suspension has been remodeled. I know its not the best looking suspension around but I don't want it clipping through the cage too much.
    screenshot_00049.png screenshot_00050.png
Lastly the maroon color will be the main color (unless you guys say something about it), plus the wheels are now black.
    screenshot_00051.png
Let me know what you guys think.

    UPDATE

-Added color options for fenders which is hard to put on.
-Added spotlight although it doesn't function yet
-Added some damage function that makes the suspension deform, and make the wheels and fenders fall off, I will make the bumper fall off I just didn't start yet.
    screenshot_00072.png

I don't feel like making the lights a separate parts because that adds more weight to the front, I'm trying to make the weight balanced. So what do you guys want me to do? Make the lights part of the main body/cage or part of the bumper?

For some reason the internal camera doesn't work even though I see the internal camera node in-game. Any reason that's happening?

    UPDATE:

    -Lights up everyone!
    screenshot_00071.png
-Current breakgroups are wheels, fenders and bumper.
-You can not only color the panels, but you can also color the cage and the fenders separately! Choose your combination.
    screenshot_00081.png
-New car logo(from new profile picture) will be on this buggy and future vehicles.

Release date confirmed! The vortexx and Xvalley Raceway will release on early-mid July! Get ready!
Unfortunately the internal camera is still broken so if I cant fix it by release oh well. Can someone please tell me how to fix it?

I found the fix for the internal camera issue, was just browsing the official update feedback and someone said a single internal camera node don't work in the recent updates. I added another node and it works. Now I can work on the internal cameras. :D

Although I am releasing both the Vortexx and the XValley Raceway in July, the next vehicle I will be making is a pure off-road racing machine. Which would you guys prefer having? A racing buggy, stadium super truck, or a trophy karts? I would make a poll but when I did once it wouldn't let me delete nor edit the poll so I'm not making no poll. In case you ask I will only do 1 vehicle at a time. Let me know what you prefer.

    EDIT: poll here http://www.strawpoll.me/10513609
    Poll ends on vortexx release.

I personally think that a stadium super truck would be the best option for your next project seeing as there have already been several "buggy" type vehicles. There has also not been a stadium truck that has gone into a full public release that i know off.
