This mod provides 3 functions for AI traffic: Set the traffic as “risky”: it increases the AI traffic speed, which does not respect the road speed limits, and make it more aggressive to that it takes risks in high-speed driving. In this mode, the traffic drives fast, takes risks and sometimes crashes, which is exactly the way I drive. This is why I think this is how the traffic should always behave. It brings a lot of fun in the game. This is similar to what the Traffic App does, but you have it available through a simple key/button press. In addition, this feature is available in any situation, even with UI apps are not available. You can associate a key or button to this function to toggle between risky and normal traffic. Get the traffic status: show the current traffic status. Sometimes when you switch to a new map, the traffic status can be reset, so being able to see its current status can be useful. It also shows the maximum number of AI traffic vehicles between brackets, useful when traffic is set to "auto". Reset traffic: this resets the AI traffic by removing it and restarting it immediately. This is very useful in some scenarios, such as Garage to Garage Delivery, when AI traffic cars crashed in front of you and block the road while others cars arrive behind you to block you. Resetting the traffic can unblock the situation. And 3 functions for the Police mode, to be used only when driving a police car: Increase suspect probability: by default, the probability to have a suspect fleeing is set to 50%, so sometimes you wat for a long time before having someone to run after. Increasing the probability will make the game more fun by having traffic vehicles fleeing more often. It seems this function does not work if you drive a police car with standard traffic, you have to use traffic with police. Trigger pursuit: When you press the corresponding key or button, the pursuit does not start immediately. Some conditions are necessary for that, it seems the suspect must be visible to make it flee. In fact, the driver flees only when he sees the cops. As soon as the pursuit is engaged, a message indicates the distance to the suspect vehicle. This function works with standard traffic, you just have to be in a police car. No bar light; This function fixes a bug in the game. If you turn the bar light on while driving a civilian car, it will be immediately deactivated. This works only with police cars. No binding is necessary for this. After installing the mod, don't be surprised if nothing is visible, this is because there is no UI. I don't see new bindings at the gameplay section, I might be doing something wrong? I just dragged and dropped zip file in mods folder.
Hi, I found that it seems you have wrongly packed your mod. Maybe you need to repack it. BTW nice mod! It helps a lot when I can't find the suspect in the traffic
I would be happy to repack it, but it works fine on my computer, so I don't see how I should make it different.
if I just drag the zip file into the mods folder, it doesn't work. It works fine when the mod is unpacked though.
Hi, so at risky traffic, traffic drives very aggressively and fast. but they still obey stop signs and traffic lights. could there be another mode called RACER, or something else, where they dont do that? and if possible, overtake other drivers?
As far as I know, this is possible, it is called the race mode. This mode is used in the game when you use the "route race" option or when you race against AI with the hotlapping App. The problems are 1) when driving like this, AI drivers are very bad to avoid traffic and they crash in the first car they encounter, race does not last long and 2) as far as I know this mode race can only be used with a programmed route the AI can follow, it cannot be a random route like the standard traffic drives.
Is there a way to change the detection functionality for police vehicles? This is because if I enter a modded police vehicle or anything that is a non-vanilla police config, this mod does not allow it to activate its sirens and every time I want to do a police chase, I sadly have to deactivate this mod as a result (I struggle with using the vanilla police cars). Is there any way that I could change the detection logic to the regular ingame method of just searching the config name for 'police' myself, or can you update this mod please? I tried to mod it in myself but broke the game and had to do a reinstall . I don't want to be too critical though, other than this 1 caveat, this mod is PERFECT, like the BEST MOD OF ITS KIND by far!
