So I have a stupid question, how do you get the turbo options? I can only get supercharger to show up. And how do you change the boost levels?
You Need to change the exhaust Header to a Turbo one, and then the Turbo Option showes up. Boost you can Change on the wastegate
I would but i don't have any enginesounds that fits that engine Type. I always used the Beamng sounds
There was some mod with a 2 cylinder for the pigeon....maybe u can use those sounds Edit : I did make a 2 cylinder for everycar in this mod but deleted it cause im an arse
Thats the problem for new enginetypes now. I need now sounds for new engines. But i would love if someone would give me permission to use a modded sound
Would reworking some of the engines to make less power be possible? Making a 50-horsepower 3-cylinder or 140-horsepower smog-era V8 is impossible. If you get even close to those numbers, the engines lock-up permanently under any sort of load. Also, there's weird things like how all the engines comes with boost pipes and whatnot when they're NA.
When you use the old Parts? They even removes HP. Like clogged airfilters and that things? I'm currently writing every Bug on a file to work on, the Boost pipe is noted
R4anking, i don't know if it is still in your plansince it diverged a lot from what it was in the begining, but are you planing on doing custom 3d models for these engines? I mean, on the long term of course, because now we have too many engines. it kinda takes away on some cars like the pessima and 200bx that you have a massive engine wiith a big turbo but not even an intercooler for the turbo and the front bumper looks weird without it behind so you use the default bumper.
I have someone who is willing to help me and make engine models now. But idk how long it will take, i also don't put him under stress, i'm happy someone even helps me with that, i also let him freeroam in what he wants to do.
That's great!! But don't even need to put him under stress, this mod is awesome and with a LOT of content, that's why I said to something more for the long term, it is [retty hard to model engines, and even to make sure they fit inside of the cars, So it is compreensible that it might take a lot of time. Other than that, great work on your mod, this is by far my favorite mod of all time because of the freedom it gives you.
I don't really Model myself, but the modeling itself doesn't take that much time, i think to fit the engines in every Car, fit it With the transmission and the exhaust will be alot of work
I think the F4 might need a bit of re-tuning as far as what parts generate what horsepower I replicated a Subaru Wrx FA20DIT engine, which produces 272 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque @5600rpm, using information gathered from here as well as the official Garrett GT22 turbo specs. With as many faithful parts applied, this is the build: And, well... Something seems a bit off about those figures, haha!
