I'm having the same problem I can't fix it every time I put a custom engine, Game freezes and I can't do anything, and the car leans forward as if the engine were very heavy
Did you update the game and the mod? Maybe the mod doesn't work anymore because of the new update, i will check in few hours, when I'm back home. Otherwise try it without any mods enabled and be sure to have my latest mod version
seem good on my end, sound like u have a corrupted mods in your repo ! or not updated your driver (GPU AD MORE)
like S1KRRDream said, problem isn't on the mod side, just tried it myself. Try the things i wrote, if that doesn't work send me a PM
why can you change the friction with the ecus. makes no sense at all. also engines still barely smoke without a modified ecu. a stock ecu shouldnt even be able to adjust things like that really
Because some people asked for to be able to customize it. If you don't want to adjust it, don't change it. I can try to adjust the smoke.
what about making the friction adjustment a separate slot? kind of annoying for me as theres not an indicator for what stock friction is
I think that would be to hard to find. I could make a Debug sector in the tuning sliders, so it wouldn't show up on the ECU's, if you're happier with that.
Thank you for your work! I want to ask: is there a way to keep the original engine sounds (like from a car mod that has it´s own sound) and just change the engine specifications?
Nevermind! What is the best tuning option to raise low rev torque? (I know that torque and power are mathematically related Horsepower = Torque x RPM / 5,252 so a raise in torque will also raise hp)
Race short intake raises torque and lowers HP. You also can modify the curve in the programmable ECU with custom ignition timing iirc (one of them can adjust the torquetable 500+-)
Not all engines are in automation irrc (didn't played it since a long time) But now as i got more experience with swapping models around i could do it, but it would be a lot of work. Over 500 engine --- Post updated --- Yeah, but tbh i don't think that will be a sure thing.
I tried some things but I think the base engine values are already too high. I struggled to make a 1.2 liter I4 engine (turbo downsized) that makes just 115 hp like irl. (had to make it OHV).
That's possible. If you want lower HP you can try short intake, makes more low end torque but less HP. Or you can adjust it with ignition map on the free programmable ecu
