Released RK's Highly Customizable Engine (Now V8!) 4.2.2

I will add some new diesels for sure, but at

Check your mod folder and delete all the highly customizable engines files.
Also try to deactivate all other mods and check again.

 

I did what you said and this time every thing got fixed. I had the mod twice once in the modded cars folder and in the games repository folder i deleted the one from the modded cars folder and it worked. Thanks for the suggestions and i am very happy that you took the time to help me. Have a good day/night and good luck on improving this amazing mod.

 

19L V6, V8, V12 and V16 diesels for the semi truck would be a great adition too!

 

I love the mod, finally I can swap a 1.9 TDI into almost everything
Are there anyplans to add a "hardcut" to the diesels? LIke the PD130 hardcut

 

I would also like to see two stroke engines with various scavenging types:

Gasoline: cross-scavenged piston port, uniflow (valved/ported), stepped piston
Diesel: Schürle port, uniflow (valved/valveless), stepped piston

And addon pieces
* Power valve
* Check valves for piston port engines: Reed, rotary

 

The mod crashes my game every single time I try to spawn the engine regardless of the car. Can you please help fix this problem?

 

do you have newest mod + game version and tried it with only my mod activated?

 

I've tried it, but it wouldn't work.

 

So, I just tried to use your mod, when I spawn my car in no sound doesn't rev nothing, when it does rev for one time the engine immediately turns off, tried with a clean stock beamng and nothing changed, I cleared my cache several time's, here is my console log.

 

Does this happen to every car? What parts did you choose? Weird because on my side it works flawless.

good it works now. The Mod is always for the newest versions and can break in older versions when there is a change in the game lua.

 

Can you add twin, compound, sequential and quad turbos for diesels?

 

No! I have auto update off always as I don't have that much storage, if an update is needed I do it manually to save space

 

I have the problem that since the update in which the ignition system was renewed, adding a turbo to a custom engine causes the car to completely stop working and an error message pops up saying that there is an error with the mod. i did everything the game instructed me to do but it still didnt fix the problem.

 

Check if you have the newest game version 0.28.2 and the newest mod Version

 

Hey! I really like your mod, but is there any way for you to add a F1 style engine to the game? And or if possible a V12 as there is only one sadly, I hope its possible but I understand you are already busy.

 

Hi, I just downloaded the mod and wanted to put a tubro on one of the engines but only superchargers are showing up, am i doing something wrong or just looking in the wrong place.

 

You need to change the exhaust header to a turbo one

Wdym with F1 style engines? You already can do 16k rpms.
What V12? There is already a V12?
