There is no such option for me unless you mean "Start freeroam with traffic". This settings is already turned off though. So it cant be the issue
You can try going into freeroam first and spawning traffic with police, then go into Campaign. If not, another user claimed completing any police mission will fix it.
10/10 great work thanks for filling the gap while we patiently wait for the devs ❤️. Cops don't seem to be spawning in my career I play with this mod and the career overhaul pack you suggested in another thread and then a Cummins diesel mod any and all help appreciated ❤️ and the addition of being able to play as a cop is *chefs kiss* --- Post updated --- Thanks i realize after posting my comment that you that the setting was worded a bit different in the setting but turning it off actually fixed it police are spawning again! Thanks! The setting is called "start freeroam with traffic"
Hey has anyone had a modded car that you buy from the garage break your career, I've ever tried on fresh new profiles, and it instantly breaks career makes it to where no vehicles show up in garage and breaks the computer, can't open menu nothing, it will let you buy it drive it and once you leave and come back, or sometimes as soon as you buy it everything is broke as long as you don't get the car all is good I assume it's something with the car mod but could that be something possibly on my end
Main cause is when the odometer glitches and either gives the car a negative or 0.000e number. Only way of fixing it is by going into your career mode save file and finding whatever vehicle you need (will be numbered either 1.json, 2.json etc). You will need to CTRL + F, search odometer and manually change every value to a correct number. You will however have to match all the odometer numbers in the partInventory.json too. It's borderline impossible at best a lot of work. Quoting a dev from an old post (apparently the command is quite glitchy now) You would need to manually edit the mod's files and the chances of the command still working are low.
I watched on the Racelss YouTube during one of his streams that he was able to put cars on trailers nad tote them around. I did the same thing he did and what Google told me to do: Put car on trailer, turn off, apply parking brake, hold down regular brakes and get out (making sure brake lights stay on) but my cars still roll off SUPER easy. Any suggestions anyone?
this mod is such a refresh for career mode and makes it even better! i have a suggestion though: i´d like to see derby matches with the derby configs in game and also derby races, like in wreckfest, for example.
Just wanted to leave some props here for you guys. RLS- Career is an absolute nice one! thank you for making it. i´ve already enjoyd it for several hours.
Sorry for being off topic but is a mod safe if it have 10 .CS files? i seen you posting a link of drive of the mazda 787B mod to a guy but i wanted to download but when i have seen the .CS files i lost my trust of the mod, thanks for helping me, have a nice day!
That sadly also did not work. But going into a police mission is not really much of a help. What will also fix it for me is getting caught once. But that is also not really much of a help lol^^
anyone having issues with downloading and installing the " no police" addition, but the police still appearing?
Does the same thing. Ill pull car on trailer, leave in gear, turn off, hold brake while I exit vehicle (making sure brake lights stay on) and thay still wont stay. Raceless suggested turning of Simpified Physics on a YT comment but I didnt have them turned on.
I don't remember ever sending such a mod? Either way depends what is in the files, you can open them in notepad or something to check. 99.9% of the time it will just be materials which is safe, sometimes it will be some sound definitions which is also fine. A risk of malware in these files is very very low but possible, as in every file with code in it really. We discourage the use of these files because they might possibly break in the future (not intentionally from our side) as we remove more outdated content from our game engine, but they are still perfectly allowed. You should trust them the same way as you trust lua files. So yeah I would say there is 99% chance this is safe but if you want to be extra careful just check these files for suspicious code.
