game still doesnt save after 2.5.1 and it deleted all my cars, nothing comes up when i try to buy a new one
So, 2.5.1 doesn't work on my PC. At any price. Disabled mods, cleared cache, verified integrity, it just loads with lua errors to that off-map underwater sound and all-but locks up Beam. 2.5 however works perfectly. ***edit*** Nope, spoke too soon. 2.5 at least loads up, but when you try and purchase a car it doesn't let you. What it does let you do then is get in the car and drive it away for a lot longer than a test drive would permit, but then the game crashes after a while. ***edit 2*** Some more testing this morning has gotten 2.5 to where it mostly works, I believe. That first car purchase was broken for some reason, but another one worked and I was able fit it out for cargo in the trunk and do a few deliveries...before getting written off as an innocent bystander to a monumental police car crash Working on the premise of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" I got a loaner car from the station and did some police work for a bit!
have a issue where i cant start a new save. game freaks out and wont load. have tried a fresh Beamng install and only using the Career mod and still no luck.' i have posted in the discord like he asks people to do with bugs but have not got a solution on how to fix apart from paying for patreon and testing a new build...
For some reason, when you end a pursuit while using the improved siren mod, the ELS freezes and just breaks and the vehicle need to be respawned, be nice if that could be fixed since the dev for that mod hasn't updated it for a few months. Decent mod tho.
Same issue here, did just that and that fixed it; runs just fine on 2.5 --- Post updated --- hmm actually it creates profiles fine but then the GUI remains broken in many areas such as the deliveries objective persisting after delivery or the xp bars; upgrading to 2.5.1 then loads the profiles but still show gui issues; purchasing first car just closes the window without completing purchase.
I'm not able to purchase a first car in version 2.5. In version 2.5.1, it just spawns underwater and gives fatal lus error like some others have experienced. Is there some way to purchase the 1st car in ver 2.5?
I have 2.5 working to the point where I can do cargo delivery, and police work, and drag racing. But it is crashing to desktop with alarming frequency. Not had Beam appcrashes like this in forever.
I got 2.5.1 working by copying the "gameplay" folder from 2.5 into the 2.5.1 zip as suggested here: https://github.com/RLS-Modding/rls_career_overhaul/issues/247#issuecomment-3348877476. Seemed to be working but game crashed after a while. Haven't tested much.
I really liked rls overhaul because It is such a great Mod and was really hyped for the new Update. But after i installed it it gave me a fatal lua Error. Then i deinstalled the game deleted all mods and tried again Same Error. This Error acoured after creating a new Profile in the carrer mode. Then the Profile loaded and IT seems to Work but i cant buy cars. When i click buy It Just doesnt work. In carrer mode with Out Then Mod It works.
Guys, tell me, what kind of nonsense is this, why are there no mods, what would happen without the police and without parked cars, why are mods not last on the list????
what do you mean with no mods? the mod hasn't been fixed yet at least for me so it doesn't work right now
i dont know if anybody knows this but he just posted ver 2.5.2, im checking if it works right now. Edit: most things seem to be working as of now, but it did sell all my cars. and the dealerships are not restocking cars.
Which version were you upgrading from? I went from 2.5 to 2.5.2 and kept my cars (a Bastion police car and a heavily modified Bluebuck). ***edit*** New problem cropped up here on 2.5.2 - now it won't actually load my savegame without crashing to desktop. Tried each of the three autosave files, nothing doing. On the plus side I didn't have so much progress saved on it that I can't get back to where I was in a few days on a new save, but I was rather proud of that Bluebuck build. Hey ho! It's a beta mod for an alpha game, got to expect these things
