Those of you entered in the Cannonball Run, make your way towards the parking lot. We will start at 11:30 PM EST. It is kinda foggy, so make sure you have working foglights. Also don't roleplay here. Do that in the cannonball run thread.
Well, I got a new Dove yesterday, the one I bought from @Tesla66's military auction. I have to say, for only $300 (plus $2,400 for shipping it to east Texas), that little truck is awesome for having only a 1.0-liter L4 and 47 horsepower at the crank (it seems like it's lost a bit of power since its last overhaul back in the mid-'90s). Here's some photos of my dad (in the RP, of course) driving it around the Industrial Site. It runs fine, despite having over 150,000 miles on it (Doves are very well-known for being bulletproof, especially the smaller-engined ones), but I think that it may be having a few problems with not producing enough power. Still happy to have bought myself a new daily driver (my Covet has become a barely-legal street-racing car), but I will have to register it at the local DMV as a vehicle of Texas, not Hawaii. The good news is that it likely will be easy and very inexpensive to register compared to trying to get one in from Japan and importing it, since it already conforms to U.S. emissions and safety standards and it's already within the United States legally and it's a former military vehicle, so it should be roadworthy in about 2-3 days from now.
Due to heavy rain and fog in Utah, the Cannonball Run will start tomorrow. (aka I fell asleep before the race and slept until now.
-bullets fly around my head- -gets family in car- -bursts through garage door- -runs over a attacker- -drives out- -sees a gang of vans chasing me- -one fires a rocket launcher-
Today we are finishing up the 423 V8 Moonhawk. But first, I just had to do a smokey brake stand with it as-is. Next on the list was getting it painted. I decided to go with an old school Special Edition look. And finally the new wheels came in. They are Alder Kingsnake 15"X9" wheels. We also installed the spoiler. And now it's home. But it is not finished, for what lies ahead makes this only the beginning.
Well I just got my pigeon 4 wheels. I did get someone to do it because I couldn't really care enough to learn how to do it due to being busy. Anyways, here it is. It also has a new steering wheel too. It has around 45 hp at the wheels. I just brought this for a utility vehicle, and on a tight (very) budget. I got it for free, because I saw it as a almost rust free 3 wheeled pigeon just lying in a garage, damaged. I had to pay the guy $1,100 for suspension, steering wheel and a lot of other things but it was worth it. My pessima is a bit too much modified to go on the streets on a daily basis. I might make more power for this thing, but it's fine as its very light as well.
Ive joined a club for miramar lovers, i met some in garfields heights and we did some driving. This was the meeting point
Well, I got a 2001 D15 4x4 from my GF's dad, as they bought a ETK 1500 SUV. It got 12,000 km on the odometer.

Huh, there's and old GM down in the river off the bridge by Firwood, engine seems fine, but I'd say it might need some work.....
Well, I've modified my Dove to have four-wheel-drive, a locking front diff and a limited-slip rear diff, a 1.6-liter four-cylinder from the GLX line, and some GT-Z wheels and tires for about $1,500. $1,500 to make my little truck about 4 seconds quicker around the Grip-All racetrack at Industrial. Here's some pictures of it at the Industrial Site in Texas, in my race against Ranger McAllister (@JetPoweredMacintosh).
