I applied for the BeamCom job, and I got it! The Pessima also arrived later that day, however it would've been nice to have before the interview; a rusted-out dented D-Series did not blend into the parking lot well. I know I really don't need more cars, but I'm thinking of trading in the truck for a Bandito which I could work on and maybe turn into an off-roader. I guess we'll just have to see what my finances and my neighbor's willingness to look at crappy cars allow.
Ever since that bullshit in Firwood went on a couple days back, Doug had been watching his six to such a degree that he hadn't left his house in Utah for over 36 hours. It was hell. As we know, the FBI and other important agencies have given up on chasing Parker, because the case is full of red herrings that no one really knows where he is at any point. After the massive chase that killed over fifty people last month, he has been all over the board. Maine has been devastated by Parker, as well as multiple other states, including California, Washington, Utah, and Nevada. He has even climbed the ranks of most-wanted criminals in Italy. He is believed to be currently in a damaged green 90's Ibishu Pessima base.

As I’m walking down a street in Belasco, I respond “It’s damn awful, but I absolutely agree. I don’t think I can go back to all of these likely-fatal goose chases. I trust the rest of the FBI to handle things, and plus, it’s not a great thing to have to take weeks off and fly across the country when you’ve just started an easily-replaceable position at a large company.” I see a man in a badly damaged green Pessima screech up to the curb, and jump out of the car. He walks into a dilapidated diner across the road. As I look at him, I realize it’s Parker. “Damn, Parker’s here in Belasco! He’s 20 feet away from me as we speak. I gotta grab my pistol, we’ll see if I survive to call you back...” click I run into the street, catch a cab, and give the driver a 20 to get me back home on the double.
