Well I checked the Moonhawk, but there seemed to be nothing wrong with it, just a few minor problems every car of this age has. But that doesnt justify a 8k price tag. Does anyone have one of these? What are your experiences? Also btw, this V8 just sounds absolutely fantastic
Yours must be insane than mine and here is the pic of my Corse GTR if you want to know how it looks like.
I crashed my Miramar trying to find more parts for my Corse. There goes my daily. --- Post updated --- r.i.p
Well, it is street legal and when I bought it, I actually want to pick the normal red Corse but the dealer said the don't have that type of Corse so they just offer me this one which is the rarest of all Corse and it only available in dark blue so what can I do? I just bought this one for jaw dropping $950,000 exclude insurance and tax. If I include insurance and tax, that would be $1,250,000.
Does anyone think they can fix my car? I'm going to pay around 10,250 to fix it. Its a cheap car i gotta say. --- Post updated --- i got it for around 27,897. It was my first car!
I did the parts run in my Roamer! It went well and i got the car complete It has a 4.0Liter V8 with a stage 2 supercharger (brought to you by CJD Special Parts), Competizione parts, and special rims. All the upgrades costed around 92,098 CR. The engine alone costed 55,000 CR.
I just took the Moonhawk to a mechanic, he says there may be some major problem with the transmission, but he's not sure. Doesnt sound to good to me, keeping my fingers crossed.
Bad news. the mechanic says quote "the transmission is completely fucked up" and that Ill need a completely new part. Shouldve expected it, it made funny sounds. But its an automatic, so I didnt care. Obviously Im gonna do the replacement myself (dont wanna get ripped off), but Id still need the part. Does anyone have a 73 Moonhawk Sport transmission? I really need one.
Ca Yep. I do. What kind of tranny would ya like? I have an auto OR a manual. Both 4 Speed. With Clutch, Flywheel etc. included. It would cost you around 500 Bucks since the part is brand spanking new.
I do happen to have one in "okay" condition. Its a 6-speed auto. I just found it laying around my garage. Ill have to have you pay 150 CR. Shouldnt be a problem.
So, I just came back from a friend's paint and tuning shop with my Bolide Corse. What we did: We wrapped it with the OG competizione wrap and tuned the turbos, changed up the boost controller and ECU. (The second picture if before my getting it to the shop) --- Post updated --- I also have a used 6 Speed Manual laying around, also with everything included. That'll cost around 200 bucks. *UPDATE* On the way home I saw a car standing somewhere in a lake, seemed to be a nice old car, can someone help me get the thing out? MY D-Series is currently not here, since I needed to get the tires changed. I'll tell you the location when I am there.
Only 200? I expected prices to be much higher. Anyways, id buy the 6 spd manual, where and when can I pick it up? Thanks, but I prefer manual. You can put it off to the side though, one day it might come in handy. Wait a minute...yknow what? Ill take it, you never know with those old cars.
