Idk, I just got one from my dad. I think they are just really coming back. Everyone suddenly wants one.
With help from the mechanic and some friends, the Bluebuck starts looking a lot better. It is now almost a full Bluebuck, looks chrome, as the paint is stripped.
So I picked up a cheap D25 today for moving stuff around now that I have my new house. I brought it home and had one of my friends drive the Bluebuck. Also, I still have a junkyard 423 big block out of a wrecked Barstow that I want to build for the Bluebuck. Now that I have my truck, I'm probably going to grab the engine and start gathering parts. I want to do a forged bottom end, solid roller cam, ported heads, full length headers, and DCOE carbs with velocity stacks. First, I'm going to have to let my budget recuperate after the truck and house purchases so I'll still be puttering my way around with the clapped out straight 6.
I start cooking a meal, but realise I didn't buy any vegetables "I have to get some vegetables quickly, before the meal gets cold!" I run out to my ETK 800 and start it, speeding out of my driveway and towards town --- Post updated --- (Wait there's already a bluebuck police skin mod?)

Later, a plane lands in a tiny airport a few miles south of a town called Firwood. A man gets off that plane. I am that man. I catch a cab out of the airport, and on the way into town, I see a nice D25 for sale. I tell the driver to stop. I call the number on the sign, and it turns out that the truck is owned by the owner of the gas station it's parked at. I ask the driver to wait for a minute, and the owner of the gas station walks into the lot. "Nice truck you got here!" I say. "50,000 miles, and 4500 bucks. Not bad at all." After talking about the truck for a minute, I pay the taxi driver, and he leaves. I think I've found my own way home. A few minutes and a handshake later, I'm pulling out of the lot in my new D25. As the truck rumbles down the gravel road, I come across a small house on a not so small plot of land. I check the address. "This is it." I hop out of the truck, and the first thing I do is to walk into the yard, where I see the Bluebuck. "Wow, look at that." I check the tabs on the plates. 1984. The previous owner said it hadn't been touched in 30 years. I get an idea. I pull the truck around to the backyard, and pop the hood of the truck and the Bluebuck. I grab the jumper cables that came with the truck out of the glovebox, and hook them up. "There's no way this thing's gonna start." I open the door of the Bluebuck, put the key in the ignition, and turn it to 'start.' "No way will this work, no way..." The starter hesitates, and keeps attempting to start the engine. After about 10 seconds, it starts. "How? This thing's been sitting for 30 years! No way!" I rev the V8, and just for grins, put the car in reverse. To my amazement, the thing actually moves. The tires are totally shot, of course, and the thing's smoking like a freight train, but it is running on 30 year old gas. I drive the thing over to the side of my house, and laugh. I'm shocked it even started. I don't start work for two weeks, maybe I could put some work into this thing.

(Yeah, I like the house too. The Bluebuck situation happened with the Gen 2 Kashira, too. Everybody bought a van.)

I decided to sell off my other cars, as I really don't need them. (and I reinstalled beamng, and dont want to remake the configs) I'm going to firwood to look around the new town.
*later that day i go to hirochi raceway* "ahh hirochi raceway. i have some good and some bad memories of this track. its goot to see they have put an emphasis on safety, and the requirements for rollcages on racecars will make sure an accident like i have been in will never happen again"
I may join the Belasco Police force. Or maybe go back to the FBI, in case something big happens. I wonder where my two partners ended up, I lost contact with them a while ago.

I've headed over to the sawmill to buy some plywood to do a few cheap finishing repairs on my house. My Bluebuck has a good trunk, so hopefully it will fit pretty well.
