I might see if I can find a crappy grand marshal as a beater workhorse. The trunk space in those things are great. Maybe a retired taxi or police car. --- Post updated --- I think i’m gonna sell my bluebuck. Probably for around $40,000.
I just picked up this really special '62 Bluebuck, with 630,000+ Miles on the odometer! What's also really cool is that I have a bunch of old stock parts that I can just put on to make it run again. I've already gotten started on unclogging the carburetor as there was a bunch of acorns stuffed inside of it, luckily none have seemed to drop into the manifold so that's good.
I'm gonna do a few small edits to my character. I'm still going to have the farmhouse, however i'm gonna not be in the FBI (but still able to join in on investigations) and i'm gonna be poorer. So say goodbye to the 200bx drift sports car and say hello to crappy beaters. --- Post updated --- Looking for a Grand Marshal, they are reliable and can hold a bunch of junk. Because i’m stuck in a crappy receptionist job I need something cheap and reliable, which a Grand Marshall is. --- Post updated --- I could have used my dads bluebuck, but his hospital bills are through the roof, so I think selling it is better. I've been taking the bus for a while, but I want a car now. My office job is total crap, but it always gets me through so I can handle it. The car may not even have to be a GM, as long as it is reliable. I would prefer a Grand Marshal, so hopefully one goes on sale soon.
Got myself a first car first thing I'll do is check for fixes 2 hours later... all car got checked and is good condition I'm thinking about a putting an I6 in there and new rims --- Post updated --- Got $1450 to spend After went to a freinds house and stayed for a night --- Post updated --- Got some nice new rims for my ETK The rims are ETK TTC10 19x10 black --- Post updated --- Putting a new engine in... going to be selling the old one... 1 week later Got the engine put in now sold the other engine to the company that put the I6 in along with some other goodies like my old wheels Got some new stuff along with the engine such as a new diffuser (856 diffuser) a high performance raidator and took of the 854 lettering
I've got it running! The breaks are a bit weak but I have some new break pads and calipers lying around that could pop onto the rotors, looking forward to re-doing the interior as it's filthy and I personally don't like the color, If anyone wants " Army Green, 4-door sedan complete interior" just hit me up.
"I guess you wonder where I've been..." Actually, I've been car improving, and now I am ready to sell my work. (drumroll) This is before I got it home and waxed it up, but I must say it looks breath taking. My mods: New "Brilliant Burgundy" paint (original colour) New tires New hubcaps New Fender skirts All to make this. (After washing it)
--Later-- I replaced the whole interior. I even got this old HF radio antenna working so I can now listen in onto police radio channels.
*drives around town* *gets a message on my radio* "weve got a robbery at a jewel shup, come immediatly" "strange, this is the 3rd robbery this week" *goes to the shop* some cop: "weve got no track of who did this" thinks: "this cant be good, maybe there is another crime wave on the horizon."
Finally got a car, pictures later. I’ll probably keep it for a while, but I may need something more practical in the future.
This... is the car I got. For $5800, I think it was a very good purchase. I don't like it though. bad looking rims, the color isn't exactly my style, the suspension is hard, and it has racing seats, which are hard to get in and out of. i'm thinking about trading it in. I'm sure I could get a bunch of money for this thing in a trade in. --- Post updated --- So i'm gonna be looking around for an opportunity to trade it in, and try to handle it for now. The suspension is bad with potholes, which are common on my street.
*looks at pessima* “Maybe i should sell this, since i dont have a use fo it and restored it for cheap” *goes to the station* Officer: “there might be a second crime wave, be on your guard” *drives to the lot* “Why do i have a bad feeling about this?”
*as i am working on some documents for cars to sell, I spot a suspicious looking marshal without plates coming by* *steps in barstow* Someone over the radio: “there is currently a robbery going on at firwood cafe” “This cant be good” *goes to the cafe with lights and sirens on*
Alright, I can just chill out and grab a coffee. *The door is smashed in, and 3 men with guns storm into the building* Everyone! On the ground now! Hands on your heads! *One of the men step up to the counter, gun pointed at the woman behind the counter* Money in the bag, all of it! *The women frantically fills the sack with cash* *Officer @jerrie pulls up in his car. * We have hostages, don't come in or we will shoot them all!
*as i pull up i see that the cashier has a gun pointed towards her* Over the radio: “they’ve got hostages, i need backup” *2 more officers arrive* Criminal: “any step closer and ill shoot one of the hostages” Thinks: what now? Eitherr we go in and risk a life, or stay here and let this happen
