Well the cops didn’t kill all the people last time. That’s the reason it’s happening today, because some of them escaped with injury or got out of jail. They don’t know what they’re dealing with.

Not to mention that they want to kill me. I can’t even trust the cops to not chase me when I’m running from a murderer.

So I just bought a truck that was crashed, the front is perfect but the rear not so much, the drivetrain was broken so it was dirt cheap

I bought a new truck and a caravan and I'm moving up to Utah. I'm gonna be looking for work at some point, as this trip has cost me my original job. I hope it goes well. Currently, I'm living at the campsite and its a comfortable life.

Picking up a new roamer I just bought. Perfectly timed, as my friend needs to borrow my truck. He's going to leave it at my parents' place until I can get it later.
My new roamer is a V8, 4wd model. It has a manual gearbox too. Should be good for offroading.

“Well, we figured we would spice up your vacation. And we can handle this, plus, if we stayed totally out of this, we could’ve been dead. We didn’t initiate things here, we’re just along for the ride.”

I wake up and get ready to start my first day at work, I bring some rubber gloves, some good tools, and my lunch. I arrive at the workshop and park my hopper behind the gas station. With @Cory5503 greeting me as soon I walk through the front door, he then tells me all of the rules and where I will be working. I walk over to where I will be working and get situated while waiting for a potential customer.

-About an hour later a Wentward bus pulls up to one of the garage bays-
"So you said you've had experience with HD vehicles, right? Want to take on your first job? The bus company driver states that the brakes, being air brakes, feel like they have low air pressure."

Also, the transport truck finally showed up with my last vehicles from Maine.

They appear to still be intact, and I have genuinely no idea why I decided to ship my shitbox Grand Marshal out here for haha.

Yeah. So, @zestyfolfdude , wanna join us? I mean, either way, you’ll probably become involved.

Oh, and @98crownvic , I can take you down to the dealership and we can buy you a car. It
might be useful if we both have cars.

"Sure, I'll go take a look at it."

I go to where the bus is parked and barley get it inside the workshop, Since the bus is too heavy for a lift I jack up the rear of it and try to follow all of the individual air lines to see which one may have burst, none. I then dropped the bus and opened up the engine bay to look for the air compressor, since that's the heart of this whole system and boom, I found the problem. The pump was old and the rubber seals around the lines that held the air inside was starting to crack and dry rot, It still held air and a somewhat decent compression... if it was a regular car that is. After inspecting it some more It was bad enough to warrant installing a whole new compressor instead of rebuilding it, I went into the lobby and told the driver what was going on and to see if he wanted to fix it / pay for a new compressor, he said yes to both of my questions so I got to work on replacing it. and 1 hour and a half later it was all done, he forked over a grand and I gave him back the keys so he could be on his way to wherever.

"Hey Cory, Shop just made some decent money in profit from that guy's air brake problem. his air compressor was failing so I replaced it with a spare one from the parts room, works good as new now."

Nice work man! You work really quick! (You can start to make up your own jobs and vehicles to work on now if you want too)

Alright, here we are. If you buy something broken cause its cheap we're right by a car repair shop. I'm sure the FBI will cover whatever you buy if you say its for an investigation.

I stroll around the car lot, looking at a bland array of Pessimas and the like, when a deep blue extended cab D15 catches my eye. I peer through the driver's side window at the odometer, which reads 275,000 miles. I glance at the windshield, which exclaims 1500 in bright, neon green numbers. The paint's alright at best, and nonexistent at worst, but it seems mechanically sound enough. It's a short bed, so it's maneuverable enough for my purposes. I walk into the office, and 10 minutes later, walk out with a worn set of keys.

Nice choice. Lets go back to camp. I would race with you but I think it's obvious who would win.
