(Right before I stole the Barstow) EEK *Drives away* WAIT....THIS THING CANT STEER RIGHT!!! ACK Hmm...I need another car. *runs back towards crash scene* Ooh this one is nice. Looks like the owner got out and ran away. yeet --- Post updated --- @zestyfolfdude
Do whatever you feel like doing with the car! (Since that was the rare car auction car, I would not race it and drive it hard, just normally drive it, but that’s my opinion, you do you.
With the Barstow destroyed beyond my budget and will to fix it, I borrowed a buddy of mine's cherry picker and pulled the engine and trans, some of the only good parts out of it. Having no real attachment to this car (as it is new to me), I am going to sell it as-is or scrap it. I am looking to find another one in the near future. --- Post updated --- It sucks, but I dropped it off at the scrapyard. I'm definitely gonna regret this one 10 years from now...
So I decided to get my ETK turbocharged... Now I can commute to work and cause chaos at the same time!
I never knew the Sport RS is rare. I see the Sport RS as a very common car. Saw lots of them in the streets, highway and racing. --- Post updated --- Wait no. It's going to be a drag build. See the Initial Beam Roleplay thread to see the results... If I already posted it.
Sure. The left body mount where the front subframe attaches to the tub is mangled and the bolt is sheared off inside the frame. The whole left side of the subframe is tweaked, as well as the front wishbones, steering rack and spring/shock mount. The rear axle has bent control arms and the axle housing is bent. Of course there is damage to the body panels and the firewall has a nice dent in it as well. If you want it, I'll sell it to you for $1500 without the motor and tranny. With the rest of the drivetrain, $4000.
What, do you have a problem with horsepower? The turbo was an option from the factory. I just got it after the fact. Hell, I might also turbo my 200BX, since that thing's a bit low on power to start with.
I put racing slicks on the Barstow Bomber. Now she drives like a dream. Okay, that's a lie. The Bomber's still an absolute nightmare to drive, what with it having a Stage 2 supercharger and NOS now (Blame my Austrian tech, Ludwig - He specializes in the stuff).
