    Hi all,

I would like to get back into vehicle creation. I want to do off-road vehicles, but I can't seem to figure out the best way to model a roll cage. Can I get some pointers?

I need to know what to use - curves, extruding, etc. Also, how should I set up the beams.

    Thanks in advance!

So from what I can tell from that post is a roll cage is created by extruding and rotating a cylinder object?

How would I add two separate intersecting "tubes" for the cage?

2 cylinders joined together by the Boolean modifier in Blender? I haven't created any, but this seems logical.

I've never used the Boolean modifier. I'll have to look at some tutorials.

Thanks I'll check it out! Also, you stated in an earlier post that you don't need the curve tool to create a cage structure. What tool would be best used instead?
