Beam.NG is the only game I am having trouble with on my new build. I run games like GTA 5, World Of Warships, ect like butter on max settings, yet with this game I only get 11 fps?? Of course I need to find out what is going on! So I went ahead and took this..

Now some help on this low performace would be great.. I also would like to point out that this game is only reading a 3.30MHz clock on my CPU. I actually overclocked my cpu to 4300MHz using Asus 5 Way Optimization. Not sure what thats all about.

I also almost forgot to post my pc specs, so here you go: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BKnVjX

You mean 3.3Ghz and what sort of graphics card are you running?

No Problem man, you specs seem very good at least for the ones you gave us without the GPU that is haha

okay, thats odd why would your CPU read 3.3Ghz not 4.3Ghz?

    Maybe because it's a 3.3GHz base clock CPU ?

I recently overclocked my CPU as well. Task Manager, which I assume is what you're using to check the clock, only showed me the "Maximum Speed" of the CPU and then displayed the base clock. For me, that's 3.40GHz. But, under the speed section it shows the current clock which is more accurate. I suggest using CPU-Z (http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/cpu-z_1.74-en.exe) to check your multiplier and such.

    Sorry for the late reply.

With those specs, you totally be able to get appropriate FPS.

What's your CPU usage while playing? (Check it from Task Manager).
That Asus 5 Way Optimization could be the cause of the low FPS. Is it possible for you to disable it just to confirm?

    Heres an update:

-Disabled windows cpu parking, parked half my cores!
    -Disabled all OCs.
-Attempted to use the "J" key trick in Beam to no avail.

I am trying everything here guys. I didn't spend over 2,000 to not be able to run this game.

    Something to note:
I actually "underclocked" my gpu which increased performance SLIGHTLY not sure what that is all about, you would think its a psu problem but if you look at my specs.. it shouldn't be.

    Unparking cores didn't help?
Can you please go to the BeamNG.Drive directory, Bin64 folder and run banana-bench.bat ? Post picture of it when done.
Then retry the performance graphs thing again with a vehicle you have FPS issues with.

the cpu and ram charts in picture 2 are normal, it shouldn't be using 100%, it shouldn't be using even half. Windows is set to the high performance power plan right?
although I myself have frame rate issues as of last 2 updates
