Can I upload the unzipped folder to the repo? --- Post updated --- The problem is most likely caused by the addition of filament lights.
check if theres anything in the berga files that is overwriting d series files, might be something to do with that. or maybe it has the same exact file name as something in the d series so you might need to change that
We are currently testing by removing Jbeam one by one. --- Post updated --- As part of various tests, I downloaded something that worked fine from a friend and tested it as is first. It worked. I unzipped and rezipped it again to update the model, and once again had the nightmare of my D-series flying. Why is this?
maybe there is a corrupt file or the .pc file of the car you tried to spawn is nonexistent --- Post updated --- or missing files
I see, but if you put it in Unpacked in an unzipped state it works fine, so it's unlikely that any files are missing. --- Post updated --- Currently ・When I put it in the repo as a Zip file, the D series flies in the sky ・It works fine if it's in the Unpacked state ・When I replaced the file(Sparetire`s jbeam), it worked fine, so I did the same first aid for my friend, and it worked fine ・However, if I take it out of the repo once and then use the replaced Zip file again, the D series flies in the sky again ・My friend sent me the file that worked fine, and when I tried it, it worked fine ・However, when I unzipped the file, updated the model, compressed it again, and put it in the repo, the D series flies in the sky ・Currently, the compressed zip is unzipped again and put into Unpacked, and it works fine.
That's a possibility, but it would be troubling. --- Post updated --- I added this message, but when I replaced the file and it worked once, the file I replaced was the spare tire Jbeam. The spare tire Jbeam had a filament light added, but when I changed it to an earlier version, the symptoms disappeared.
Well i don't know what is honestly going on. My suggestion is make a backup of the mods somewhere where you know its safe and cant be deleted e.g. desktop or cloud or whatever, verify integrity of game files for BeamNG and then if the problem has still not fixed itself, uninstall and then reinstall BeamNG. Or just try removing all other mods but the merry and berga, then test if all is good
Hello, I managed to fix the problem temporarily. I zipped it on my computer, sent it to someone else, and had him unzip and zip it again, and it worked fine. I don't know the cause, but is there a problem with the zipping process? --- Post updated --- Development will continue, but at a slightly slower pace.
However, I am wondering, why can't I use the zipped files on my computer? I have not found any similar issues when I looked into it, but this is interfering with development, so I would appreciate it if you could provide me with any information you can...
The Vehicles folder exists. I have not noticed any problems with zipping before, and when problems do occur I just zip in the same way as before.
I found the cause of the problem. The name of Jbeam contained Japanese characters, and removing them fixed the problem.
By the way, Sanbatsu is an abbreviation of "Sanjoh hatsudouki" (Sanjo Hatsukin). In Japanese, it is written as "三条 発動機". --- Post updated --- We considered calling it Sanhatsu, but it was a little difficult to pronounce, so we changed it to Sanbatsu.
