I found that info too on quora, but some random user saying they think they remember that is not much, and i also found another guy who said it was 1000 at 200.
Have you tried looking into the Technical Regulations of GT3 cars? I don't know anywhere else that kind of information might be
That's bad for us, we don't have any other way to check the downforce, I Know it's really close to other GT3 in Assetto Corsa for example, I just think it's a Little bit off but can't test it to figure out precisely what feels wrong
Apart from the aero stuff there's also the tires; i can make them more grippy but snappier or more forgiving but less grippy. Problem is i don't have a wheel and it's hard to transcribe feelings from AC to beam
Yeah, in my experience using a G920 (so no high end equipment but it's at least a wheel) the force feedback in the Scintilla is really strong compared to Assetto Corsa, but it's propably because of my settings in Beam to allow me to feel feedback in other vehicles (because the vanilla scintilla with confort esc and so on feels SOOOO light i cant even feel a thing) This mod makes he car feel planted, but I think it understeers too much compared to Assetto (testing both cars at Imola)
I think there was a reply on your SBR4 GT500 thread, about the downforce an Acura NSX GT3 makes at about 100km/h or smth, I don't remember and I don't really want to search through the thread again
Im kinda back, just have limited time to work on a mod, i guess we could continue after the next update which rumoured "soon" and see if it adds something or breaks something, have few ideas but on a theory level only, again any lua specialist help would be much welcome
I forgot to say, it would also be helpful if you moved the wheels to the common folder instead of the Scintilla folder, you can’t use them on anything else rn (last time I checked)
it's a very specific wheels, i doubt you would wanna use it anywhere else. I doubt it would even fit anything older than K series or sbr
It would still be helpful to have the option anyways. And it’s such a simple process to move it to the common folder. --- Post updated --- Also, to be fair, the ETKs and the SBR are about the only other vehicles that would realistically have a GT3 config.
Yep. I had the same thought for a while, figured i'd try and do a GT3 K-Series, but I've also been holding off due to potential remaster. You could do the SBR4 though, that'd be cool. Plus it could be mid-engined like the IRL Porsche 911 RSR.
https://www.beamng.com/threads/2016-hirochi-sbr4-gt300.84814/ Already tried something similar, ran into a problem where the car would be too much lowered and would bounce everywhere and it had way too much drag.
