Should be pretty easily doable, but for now I'm focusing on the multiplayer racing package. I'll let you know if anything changes

Yeah i have done almost the same but towards the rear, one thing is that on most of gt3's afaik they usually inside something of a box. So i've yet to confirm if gt3's can actually have them uncovered in the bay

First of all, awesome mod! I was tuning the Scintilla myself and then found this mod, exactly what I was looking for!
I've spent a few hours lapping Spa, and it took me quite a while to click with this car. When I finally did I got the following lap:

A 2:15.326 with the default aggressive preset. Which is 2.2 seconds faster than my PB in ACC. This feels a bit weird considering I'm not at all comfortable with the car yet.

I have a few comments/questions after my experience with the car.
Did v0.30 change the handling of this mod? It feels very strange, the car understeers basically everywhere. Low, mid, high speed, corner entry, mid and exit. I really shouldn't be able to turn the wheel 180 in Pouhon without consequences.
I haven't tried much in the tuning options to mitigate this. Though I did try lowering the brake balance, but that didn't really seem to help much with corner entry rotation.

Another thing is that at mid speed and higher, it feels like the car has the most cornering grip at a steering angle of around 40 degrees, steering any more just induces tons of understeer. It took me a really long time to figure this out and it made my laps a lot more consistent. I guess I could extend this range by increasing the wheel rate (if that's tunable) but it feels really punishing. It's like the tyres have no slip angle, just grip until you steer too much, then it's gone. Which is probably more on BeamNG's tyre model than you guys tbf.

If I'm saying weird things please lmk, either way I'm curious to hear what you think on this. I'll probably try and see if I can get something out of the tuning menu and fix a setup to work to my liking.

Thanks again for this mod, looking forward to future updates!

Apparently 0.30 introduced tire model changes, plus the current values we use aren't really optimal. We can totally tune slip angle, it's just not simple

Whatever they did renders the Scintilla nearly undriveable. I did some tests and I can corner a 90 degree turn in a stock Picollina at 50mph but only 54mph in the Scintilla. That's downright heresy. A pure bred sports car should be able to corner better than that. I tried race tires and even a mod that changes tire friction and all that does it make the Scintilla roll over worse than an SUV if you take a corner too fast.

If you figure it out, please let me know.

EDIT: In my tests all assists and electronic traction/stability controls were disabled. I didn't want any extraneous variables.

Have you tried changing the toe values for both front and back? Scintilla's vanilla configs were always awful, but with some 1.5° toe on front and 0.5° on the back it feels much better (iirc it's something around +75% front and around 0 rear in the vehicle tuning menu). You may also lower the camber. It's still bad, but it doesn't snap from complete understeer to a fidget spinner so easily.

Adding huge wings helps a bit, but the GTRX kit (the only one that seems to do anything, really) only works from some 150 km/h and up – and the lack of mechanical grip is even more evident with it.

Use SBR4 GTs6r from KLJP, it's as powerful as Scintilla and much faster around corners despite lower downforce.

    OT:

I hope the texturing on those is still WIP, the exhaust and the center panel look odd with those misaligned bits. You can definitely do better.

Thanks. I'll try what you suggested.

I tried @The Stig Is A Spy 's Acquarossa and it was awesome. Extremely large and aggressive downforce in both front and rear. Probably about 1.5 times faster cornering speeds than I am expecting from the stock Scintilla.

there's a bit weird shading on exhaust, can't tell if it's uv, normals or polyflow itself
