The first stage is now over, here are the standings: View on Google Sheets Anyone who didn't get a time in for this one, don't despair, one event is dropped so if you get times for the next 3 events you can still get a fully competitive score. The next 3 events are all included in this mod. Here's stage 1 times for people who couldn't post in the thread: Sparks4: Used mouse/keyboard RcMcC22: Got a 1:39.58, but the video hasn't finished uploading yet. Used a PS3 controller
There's a reasonably high chance this could end up happening. Worst case scenario, the balancing will no longer work correctly and we'll need to make a hotfix by Monday and could do something like an extension week.
Early-ish submission, as I will be away for the weekend. Got stupid lucky across the last jump, but I'm pleased with everything else. Really enjoyed this stage! As always, driven on keyboard.
My 2nd best attempt at the Car Delivery Rally (East Coast USA) for the BeamNG.Drive Rally Group. BRC Spec Rally I-Series "Power Car" (Manual w/ XBox One Controller) 01:31:185 I really like the end. A fun one.
Well, my GPU decided (6 weeks old) to stop working so I'll waste my spare time with warranty claimin' instead of racing. Hopefully I'll be able to re-enter the competition in the 3rd Championship
Because of 0.9 there will be an extra week for this event, particularly because the Covet needs to be re-balanced (sorry CreasingCurve). This event now ends next Monday, the 24th, and the championship ends on May 8th. If you're using a Covet for this championship, please wait for the verdict on how it will be balanced before uploading new runs please download Spec Racer Z's updated car configs in the post following this one below. The Covet's engine has been downgraded in accordance with the adjusted rules. Any attempts made in 0.8 for this event are valid, but please use 0.9 for any new attempts. Thanks.
Alright, managed to get a fairly decent balance by doing nothing more than changing the engine with the SOHC Carbureted version while keeping the turbo. If you're a Covet driver or new to the championship, I repackaged the BRC2 car pack to include the balanced Covet.
Damn, all good though, i am on school holidays so i can practice and probably get an even better time.
@Max8Adam "BRC2carsUpdate.zip" is the only one you need, it's been added to the opening post. You also need to install the Quickrace pack from the opening post, this one.
Yes, everyone is free to post updated times with their car during the extra week. All the Stage 2 times unaffected by the Covet update can be carried over, but otherwise just treat this as if we are still in the standard event week.
