Solved SFX Sound emitters not working at all.

    Hi, I have some problems with the sound emitters for terrains. I add the emitter and position it where i want. Then i try to add the sound i want. I add the birds sound. Then i unfreezes the physics and go inside the sound area, but it is no sound at all. Any clue to this?

    I watched a tutorial about map making the other day by LCBradley3K. When he added the sound you had to go really close to the sound box (sounds origin) it to hear it. There may be value in the Sounds file within the editor that has to be adjusted or raised to be audible.

    No problem. This is one of my only sources of entertainment on a school night. Other than actually playing beam of course. I might have a snoop around the editor seeing as im trying to make my own supermini map and may use sounds.

    This worked. Thank you!! I have now changed the "refrenceDistance" to a higher number to hear it when i'm far away from the green box.

    FWIW I'll point out that your best reference material is often the official content. Small Island, USA has a bunch of sound emitters around the player spawn point with various values for example.

    curious how you can add a sound ogg without getting the errors saying it doesn't exist?
    where can i find the tutorial on it - i tried searching
