No, but you might aswell get a 1060 because it will let your PC last a bit longer before being upgraded again.

While a 1060 definitely would be a worthwhile for the future it would make the CPU be a bottleneck, the 1050ti would be an absolutely great pairing with that CPU.

Of course it is up to you to decide what to buy, if I were in your situation I don't know what I would choose.

Right now in my opinion is the worst possible time to buy computer parts, if I were you I would wait unless you feel the need to do something with the money you currently have.

I agree, but as games get better, they put more stress on the GPU than the CPU, so they'll even out at some point in the next year or two. Just a theory, though.

Did you add ram into the equation or something like that? I couldn't possibly know what you did on your side. I checked the website again and got the same result as before.

Thanks for showing me that website, I used it and found my rig had a 7% bottleneck! Pretty good, but I don't know which part is causing it.

However I'm not really that bothered by it, my uncle gave the GPU to me for free as a present so I won't be swapping it anytime soon.

The only part wich can bottleneck my pc is the graphics card as i have a i5 6600k with 16gb of ram a good Motherboard and a 750w powersupply wich are all pretty much the best you can get for the money (except the 6600k wich isnt as good anymore but was when i built the pc)

You are using a different CPU than what Logi_veloce is using.

The CPU also happens to be more powerful than his, in his and your case of bottlenecks the GPU IS the bottleneck.

Since your CPU is not being as well utilized as his (Because there is a larger difference in potential of your CPU and GPU) this equates to a higher percentage of bottle necking.

I found this short sentence that is very easy to understand.

In computer terms a bottleneck occurs when one hardware component limits the performance of another component.

A small bottleneck will be where both hardware components very little limits another hardware component.
