should i upgrade my PC?

Damn im shocked how well that 5090 could run beam at 8k. My 7700XT does 55-60fps in 4k btw. Lowering settings to high can get me consistent 60fps. 8k runs at 10fps lolol

 

It runs it well, but its a massive decrease in performance, but its also double 4k. The real issue is the VRAM, there isn't a map that isn't 20GB. So other than a 7900XTX 4090 or 5090 (excluding the workstation cards) it's pretty much a no go.

I'll have to test out and see when the lowest graphics do for VRAM usage

 

8k and reasonable usage would have never gone in the same sentence. Most cards aren't made for 8k anyway.
