You have to remember, the bastion isn't a charger. Large difference in design, the charger is much more aggressive and american-looking than the bastion (still looks good, though). I could see why some would still want to have a charger mod.
It's been a while There have been so many bootleg mods. it feels like the meshslap modding scene never died down even once(same can't be said for the regular modding scene).
Sadly though, the host's account met a tragic end --- Post updated --- Anyways A pretty high quality(for bootleg mod standards) mod, Nissan Skyline Pretty decent. working temperature and fuel system. This isn't present in most prehistoric mods. Seems to be from a website that has been lost to time. Mostly working electrics The only thing that does not work is the blinkers, they seem to just be png images. Could certainly be improvable (textures upscaling, improved 3d gauges, working blinkers, etc). --- Post updated --- vaz or something idk electrics don't work at all gauges work, but it has a white tint for some reason Weird --- Post updated --- While taking the electrics photo, I discovered this time of day coloring issue Backward compatibility issue? Probably a bug
Doesn't the view counter mean how much people downloaded it? I wonder who is dumb enough to use these mods.
Perhaps they want to try it out? If someone else has repackaged and virus scanned the mod for you, why would you go to the third party websites in the first place for it? Maybe even better, they want to try improving it
it's not: just the fact that it can mostly only be found on russian mod sites prob led to that conclusion, can't blame them though there's a mirror of it on the forum here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/cadillac-49-dowload-file.62348/
Idk if anyone would even want to remaster it, back when it was made making mods was less time consuming than it is now, currently a lot of the mod would have to be redone to reach current standards, and it would take months. Although it depends if the remaster would include adding new parts, because the original mod was not very customizable, so with very few variety options it could be easier.
I'm a bit surprised it isn't a meshslap. The Burnside special was the perfect car to base it off of and they could slightly edit the jbeam and engine.
Pretty sure the Burnside didn't exist yet when it was made lol Burnside was modelled in 2014 and the mod is from 2013
Actually I checked again and the mod is from 2014, so the Burnside was already modelled by then, but it took until 2015 for the Burnside to be added to the game, so they couldn't use the Jbeam of it regardless
I've been trying my hardest lol. There's a bunch left to do, but my main focus for a while has been trying to get pressureWheels to work with this thing. Once I get that done I could probably finish up the rest of the modernization relatively quickly. However, in order to release it I would have to find a way to contact Mythbuster, the original creator, because they left the forums due to people reuploading his stuff.
