If you use the correct radiator it's not that bad...I tested it on the west coast map on that long uphill. Do you have a longer hill in mind that you would like to scale up and can't because it overheats? There's also the super effective radiator which doesn't let you overheat it no matter what.
The Video Shows at the beginning how interesting it is to Park a car when you literally sit on the Front axle... also a reason why i like the mod
Hah yeah, in my country we say "it can turn around on a dandelion" (doesn't quite make sense in English, but it means it has a very tight turn radius). The angle the rear wheels make in turns is scary tho lol
the interior sounds are quite odd after the latest update. the engine is louder (which makes sense since you are basically sitting on top of it) but the wind sounds also sound like they are from the outside view. same with the gearbox sound.
Yes, I made it so that the sounds are unfiltered from the driver's view. Here's the thing about it tho: it does not distinguish between individual components (wind, other cars, transmission, own engine), so everything gets unfiltered. Here's hoping that one day, there will be several coefficients setting the levels of filtering for individual components of noise.
I agree! I enjoy driving it so much, it's cool in a weird way, reminds me of the old vans that are still putting work today in my country. Driving it with a shifter and pedals must be tons of fun, right?
Ah yes, sometimes I do drive it with the automatic shifting mode and it's fine, though I find the way the game handles the first gear and take off weird. Sometimes I feel like I have to wait till the rpm hits close to the redline for the game to shift 1->2, but it's fine for other gears. I am still unable to make the shifting work for the Benz Velo (weird rpm range and power), that's why I made a script that controls the clutch and will probably make keys to swtich to first and second for those who don't have a shifter or clutch (or either).
The one with the June date on it, 6/22/23. I was thinking of deleting the older ones (to not confuse people and clutter the forums), maybe will do it at some point. Pity I didn't save the very first one, would be fun to see how horribly broken it would be with the current version of the game lmao.
