Well, then, why not. It would be even better, because on ko-fi, you´d need paypal and I don´t have paypal for now. So, I guess, I might drop it just on the first post, when it´s ready.
Yes, you can use any pictures i upload if you want. I was busy making a brickrigs mod so i couldnt respond
Fantastic news!! I gained some experience on materials and if @Frav and you all are fine with it, then I would try myself again on some materials for the faboulus Fabia. (They´re completly self created!) I know now, what the problems with clear coat and metallic I had: Metallic: you have to crank the metallic level on the SECOND layer to 1. Clear coat: the reflection is set to none, so no clear coat would show up. Yuo have to set it "level", then it works! --- Post updated --- I now edited the materials by @Frav. If he´s fine with it, I will upload a newer version in the beta testing.
That looks amazing! Also please change the reflection mode on the chrome/mirror material to level instead of cubemap, It would look a lot better like that.
Okay, I added Bloom to the lights, changed some settings for the chrome and fixed the main textures. --- Post updated --- The last "Teaser time", before the update drops! Don´t worry, it will drop tomorrow!
Yes, it will be, but only on the hatchback, because it would take lots of time, to model a combi version, extra for it. Also, due to the fact, that I have no time tomorrow, the update will drop on sunday. Have a nice time! Schmitti
@SSRG, I know, its off topic, but I tought until now, Veetwelfia is a real town. Now something on topic: I saw, that you will try the beta version out on tomorrow. Well, I cant wait, to get your feedback!
As a proud beta tester, here's a few pics: Although there's a few holes here and there Still, can't wait to see this evolve
Thanks for the beautiful pictures! I already put them on the first page. Hope you´re fine with it, because they look very amazing! I finally finished, taking pictures of all features for the BIG customisation update, which will drop tomorrow. I also want, to say thank you, to all the beta testers, who tested my mod or will test it in future. Without you feedback, I wouldn´t found some issues. A big THANK YOU for this! Have a nice time, see you tomorrow, with the update!!! Schmitti
Ultimate customization update: Yes fellows, it´s here! Finally after lots of work and a few teasers, it´s time, to introduce the biggest progress update for this mod so far. What I did: 1. Engines: The car now has all the engines, it also has in real life: It also have now a better engine model: 2. New bodystyles: I added two completly new bodystyles to the mod: A Facelift and a vRS one: The vRS version comes with a black roof and special taillights. 3. Exterior customization: The car got plenty of bumpers and grilles. In total, it has now 51 of them: I hope, I got every bumper in here... All in all, I´m very happy, how the mod progresses. The beta testing also helps me a lot! Thanks to all the participants! And that´s it, with the customisation update. I hope, you like it! The next progress update will concentrate more on fixing things up, improving the model and preparing it for release. Have a fantastic time! Schmitti
Little update: I filled (almost) every hole in the interior and added better doorcards. I also filled the whole interior (roof, floor, inner body) with the interior texture. I also prevented the suspension parts, clipping through the body. Before I write again, what is left, to release this boy, I will wait, until I got everyones feedback from the beta testing. All in all, that should it be: Only a word of warning, school starts again tomorrow, and I have to write several exams called, "pre-A-level exams". I have a lot to practice and to learn, so I wont have that much time, to work on this mod. I hope, you understand this. All the best! Schmitti --- Post updated --- I just have to say it, but the Skoda Fabia is on a good track. Thanks to your help and your support, I was able to create out of 3d model step by step a now very good looking car mod for BeamNG. I had no experience, as I started and I learned very much about Beamng modding and 3d modelling. It´s just nice, to see, how you like my work. I will use this post for a little anouncement: I plan, to create three more mods. The Wentward coach bus, I already started. It will be a vanilla car edit, which is (I guess) the next step of modding. I will try, to make skins, hydros and triggers. Another meshslap, just to see, if I kept everything about modding in my head. It will be eventually available for release aswell. I thought about a Trabant 601, because I like this car. And, the culmination of my modding journey: I planned a fully scratch-made car mod, but I wont reveal too much about it. So, if you like my current work, stay excited, more is coming! What´s left on the Fabia: - re position steering wheel - fix rotation of gauges - add broken glass texture - fix some holes in the dashboard - configs, with thumbnails and info files - release Again, if anyone knows, what´s wrong with the gauges, then please help, I dont get it... Well, it´s not THAT much, but it´s still something, to do, so dont get too exited. All the best for you! Schmitti
