i think vRS sounds much better than just RS, hope that name takes over

 

In czechia its RS cuz its most likely impossible to say VRS lol.

 

Will their be a VR6 swap?

 

in real life doesnt exist vr6

 

The VR6 is a real engine by VAG it just wasn't in the Octavia

 

I thought that octavias were not made in the vr6 configuration

 

They weren't that's why it'd be a swap

fun fact: A few prototype Octavias with a vr6 actually existed, but they weren't really ever meant for production. It was just the Škoda vehicle development team getting to know the engine to later use it in the Superb.

 

Never knew that but i always wondered why we didnt get the v5 and vr6 in the mk1 octavia

 

because VW said "no" but the car shares almost every component with mk4 golf, so, swapping it is the easiest thing to do (really hoping for these engines being in this mod)

 

True, that´s why it has this weird short wheelbase and the rear wheels nearly beside the rear seats!

 

id love to swap one irl but i cant find any good ones anymore that arent rusted to hell

 

I am lucky that I live in Czechia, cause we have tons of them, but they are a bit expensive, for a nice one you will pay more than 5000€

The Octavia came with the rare VAG V5 or VR5 engine? And do you have an estimated date of release?

 

Yeah you are somewhat lucky there i recently found out our old mk1 still drives around near Plzeň wich actually made me quite happy to see since its not to far away from where i live
