Eh, it would be sort of realistic. I know GM put the Iron Puke into both the Pontiac Phoenix and the Camaro.
This is Gemini being stupid. Its cached data includes information from previous attacks of vandalism on Wikipedia articles. If you go to the actual article, it will say it was sold by Pontiac. It also explains why Ford is not capitalized. Though the bigger question is, why would you attack the page for the Pontiac Phoenix of all vehicles?
i still think it would be neat as an ultra poverty option on another yet similar note what about a diesel v6 as well as the v8
Sort of (in the sense that IRL GM put some engines in cars that really shouldn't have been in them) *ahem Cadillac ht4100 in the massive RWD B body DeVille/Fleetwood/Brougham* but still not truly realistic due to the fact that the moonhawk is more closely related to the GM A/G body (Cutlass supreme/regal/monte/malibu) AFAIK, the A/G body cars never had a factory 4 cylinder option, at least not here in the States. The Phoenix was more closely related to the Chevy Nova which did get the iron duke as well as the F body Camaro.
But the third-generation Camaro was sold with an 88hp I4. Unless the Moonhawk is so much heavier than the Camaro that the performance will be even worse than its real-life counterpart, and keeping in mind that the Bruckell I4 starts at 93hp, I don't think "slow" should be a reason to cancel the four-cylinder considering there are already several other muscle cars people can drive instead if they want to go fast - the appeal of this mod, at least the base trims, is instead the unrestrained over-the-top Malaise-era schadenfreude. There's also the 2.5L LeGran I4 making slightly more than the planned V6 which could be added as a more efficient replacement for that engine in the facelifted version, rather than an even cheaper option than the V6.
It really isn't realistic to have an inline 4 in a 3500+ pound car. I think V6UAL is right on the money with the engine outputs relative to the time period. I mean, look at the acceleration clip of the base V6. It's almost slow enough to be dangerous, haha. If you want an I4, you can always add one yourself when the mod comes out. This discussion is getting a bit long in the tooth.
shhhhh youre pushing the release date further --- Post updated --- that v6 performance though, almost on par with the diesel bluebuck i made a while ago.....
actually considering the i4s performance vs the v6 the i4 might actually be faster from weighing less
Is the mod coming out next month?, This Summer?, or next week?, How is the progress on the new dashboard doing anyways?
It's coming out whenever it's finished. No new progress on interior since the last image. I will update you all when there is something that's actually enough to show an update on. I've just been tweaking configs and making sure everything is consistent throughout configs
