Thank you so much! I will really look forward to making some cool loading screens with your skins, I can tell you worked very hard on them!
Was wondering the same, especially cause in your WIP screenshots you seem to have given them all window textures as well
I have made windshield textures, as well as damaged windshield textures for every car, and as far as I know, they all work? What cars are the problem? I'll have to take a look. Every single texture works on my end though.
Found these lua warnings in the console if it helps, and rounded up all the vehicles so far with misbehaving window textures. It seems to be applying the haze the window has, but not the textures for some reason. This is with only the mod enabled and clean cache.
hey dude im a ittle drunk rn vut ill definetly cehck when i get home. ill see if mine work. i hope nothing went wrong when i packed the mod
Hey there! I appreciate the worry - I'm all sobered up and I figured out the problem. While I was developing the mod, I would copy the DDS textures straight to the folder of the skin, where I would convert them to PNGs. I happened to have left some of them in that folder, and the game used the DDS (original) textures instead of the PNG (edited) ones. I'll remove every DDS texture left inside the mod, and then upload the fixed version to mediafire (again, yay). Thanks for pointing this one out, I have no idea why it all worked well before packing the mod. https://www.mediafire.com/file/0i30ei3pmgnm5np/snowycars.zip/file
You're very welcome, now it's just the Lansdale's windshield that doesn't wanna cooperate now, probably due to a misnamed file somewhere. Hope this helps, and merry Christmas to you.
Hey sorry mate I was sleeping. Looks like I forgot to add the windshield to the skin.materials.json file. It now works well again. Of course, here is the fix : https://www.mediafire.com/file/0i30ei3pmgnm5np/snowycars.zip/file
