I think they're planning on making a blog post where they explain it in more detail. But they do feel different having worked on the superlite's suspension a bit.
The main change I have noticed is how much quicker cars seem to respond on turn in. Other elements of handling feel different too but I couldn't tell what exactly. The SBR4 Hill Climb feels massively different, even the way it accelerates. It really highlights how much the devs were having to tune the drag to make up for the rolling resistance. It feels way more planted at higher speeds and also appears to have reduced top speed due to the increased drag/downforce. I will try the race Bolide soon, I spent a lot of time driving that pre-update.
I'm still not sure what's changed, but I'm pretty sure this kind of driving wasn't possible (at least by me) pre update. I'm really happy with the change.
