because the forums are as official as the discord
If they cant be asked to post as often here its understandable, discord is used much more than the forums, i always have discord open and post more over there

 

i wonder if that just goes to show how cooked these forums really are if people are preferring third-party messaging sites just to post progress

 

not really, its just that discord has more active users in general than well a forum thats pretty outdated and hard to navigate for a newbie
since i also chat with people and post stuff in private servers in discord its much faster for me to share progress there than in here
