model line up: DX= cheapest trim, no chrome 150ish DXE = the same but with a high efficiency fuel system 130ish hp LX = small block v8 model, midtrim. 180 ish HP LXi = like before with multipoint injection, mo power better efficiency (just a little) 210 hp SL = big block v8 model, midtrim. 210 ish HP SLI = big block v8 model, multipoint injection , midtrim. 250 ish HP ST = TURBO MODEL, special graphics and wheels
wait... out goes the big block! introducing.... the TOURING V8 343 small block, 211 hp on a basic trim (approx) is just like a 309, but bigger bore and less restriction, in NA fully built mod is abou 480 hp
