This post has inspired my brain to make a thought. The screenshots on the starting page of the game should be replaced by artwork like this. I think its somehow more fitting

I think it's a moonhawk, but possibly a different year. (And a map)
The outline is very similar and the lights and windows match up


but the wheelbase is much longer


all-in-all I say it's either camera tricks (fov, angle) and artist's style making them look different, or different cars.

 

it definatly is the current moonhawk or else it would have a completely different design.

I'm almost certain it's the moonhawk, but the artist's style just gives it a more blocky appearance, and the wheelbase doesn't have to be exactly spot on anyway, it's not often we see artwork of vehicles in this game

 

Like I said, probably artistic license. (And very nice license at that) Don't rule out more hints though.

Specifically, I like the sense of speed given to the car, it's really nice.

Guys, I'm not entirely sure they're on about maps and cars. This sounds foreshadowing of something a bit larger than content.

 

I am sure it's about the map. The drawing of the map doesnt look like a map we have now. The car does. And of course the car doesnt have the exact size of the moonbeam, but it's a handdraw, digital or not, it doesnt matter. (Sorry for my bad English, am Dutch)

 

Honestly, why does it matter so much to you guys to know what car/map is on the picture? Tdev said there would be a blog in the future explaining where beamng is headed, I'm pretty sure that's just a teaser for it.

 

Yeah its a dev roadmap not "omg new cars n maps" I'm cringing at some of the stuff posted in here particularly that ETK 2400 comparison. Just... why.

Its NOTHING to do with the map, thats just a a picture for the top of the blog post, its obviously based of the Utah or another unannounced map, or it could be entirely fictional. This is not what the main focus of the blog post is at all :|

Its about future development and where the game is headed and the progress that has been made since the start. Looking forward to reading this one
