tbh, I think the speeds that american trucks do are actually much better then the speed limits for trucks in europe. then again we have small roads and crap in europe so ig thats prob why we dont have good speed limits for trucks

Well, I have to agree in that part. In Brazil, anything with a GVWR/GCWR over 3,5 tons, and 9 seats, as well RVs and cars with trailers, is considered a "heavy vehicle", so it is limited to 90km/h, while other vehicles can go up to 110 km/h (120 in some roads).

I have a question, on Autobahnen, the trucks are still limited on speed, or they can go as fast as their drivers feel comfortable?

On the Autobahn trucks are also limited to 90km/h. Every Euro truck is limited to 90km/h everywhere.

Afaik, in every highway in Germany, the maximum speed is always 80 apart from any obstructions, but the newer trucks are all electronically limited to 90

Oh that's true, excuse me for not making it clear. I meant electronically limited. But yes indeed, 80 km/h in Germany. in The Netherlands it's 90 km/h for example

Also 90 in Belgium, Estonia, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, Croatia, 100 in Bulgaria and 110 in Romania. Also 70mph/112kmh in the UK
    More useless facts ftw!

I'll have to correct you, unfortunately: The speed limit for HGVs on motorways and dual carriageways in the UK is, and has been since 06/04/2015, 60mph (96kph). Prior to said date it was 50mph (80kph). This applies to all goods vehicles which have a maximum gross weight of over 7.5 tonnes as well as articulated vehicles, even if the latter are under 7.5 tonnes max gross weight.

Sources: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/final-report-on-the-increased-speed-limit-for-heavy-goods-vehicles#:~:text=Background to the increased maximum,to 60mph on dual carriageways

The speed limit for trucks in the Netherlands is 80km/h, just like in Germany, Austria etc. Almost all drivers just drive 90 though and the police don't really care (at least not in the Netherlands). All trucks have to be limited at max 90km/h but a lot of them are limited to 85, this goes for the entire EU. (I live in the Netherlands and I passed my trucking theory tests last week so i guess I'm fairly up to date on the topic)

I drive truck in the US and right now there isn’t any state or federal speed limiter requirement, but there have been several proposals to have a 65mph federal speed limit for trucks and other heavy vehicles. So far none of the proposals have gone through although many big companies already put 65 or 68mph electronic speed governers on their trucks now. I am LTO (leasing to own) my current truck (the one in my pfp) so there’s no speed limit on it.

Suggestion: upward facing exhaust or stacks (just like US Semi) and open pipe (if possible)
