Speed

Hello All.

I am new to the game and I don't drive.
I can't get cars to their top speed.
example Ibishu covert 1.5 DX1 . It says in the performance it can go 112 mph. I can only get it to 60.
Ibishu covert track 135 mph is the max speed. I can only get to 114 mph in gear 5 in an open space.
Any help would be appropriated. Thank you.

 

As for why you can't get them to top speed, I'm stumped. The only thing I can think of is that you're not giving the car enough time/enough throttle?
Are you using keyboard or controller or wheel? This is a weird one.

 

Did you check to see in the control tab if the axis's were working correctly? They should show the axis at full throttle when entirely pressed down.

If it isn't working, reset the controls. Otherwise I do not know what the issue is.

 

I'm pretty sure the track version has 6 gears, so that might be your problem there. As for the 1.5 DXi, I'm not quite sure. What controller are you using?

 

Wow Thanks for the quick reply. I am using an xbox 360 mc2. I don't think that is the problem. I have taken a few pictures that might highlight my issue and maybe someone can see within the details.

As you can see in picture 1. My foot is right down, and it show it to be 100 % out put.
Picture 2. Ibishu covert 1.5 DX1 42 mph is the fastest I can go.
Picture 3. Ibishu covert track 115 mph is the fastest I can go.

Any ideas, I am all ears and thank you all.

 

Also, is it possible that some of the controls got set to the mouse accidentally? Because I can see that shift down is set to the Yaxis, and brake is set to button 0 on the mouse

 

That is what I call trouble shooting skills. I found that 1 off the pedals does not work at all, which is the one I assigned to the brake. I checked with other games and it is the turned out to be the same issue. That is strange because in order for me to assign the pedal to the brake, it must have worked (If anyone have any ideas have to fix, please let me know).
Anyway, I deleted the assigned pedal that was not working.
I deleted the mouse controls as Codeslamer mentioned.
Now it works perfectly. Thank to you all. You are credit to the how forums should be run.
