i feel like 90s and early 2000s cars are still like 4% of the total us car population, even 30s years on. and are not uncommon in still mint states, i see several everyday
a guy who goes by n1ck in the beamng discord made a pack like that but he never released it to due backlash
map name pls and btw i know you said no ideas but HEAR ME out.. you should add the mazda series!(if you dont get it i mean like mazda12,3,4,5,6)
if you need any help with making factory colors for each traffic vehicle if you were planning on it i can assist
map is fairhaven, its posted on the forums by @Car_Killer i've already gotten most of the oe colors for specific vehicles set. Theyre set so certain cars can only spawn with their own paint colors, so its not just a bunch of random colors on every vehicle. I've also set the frequency of paint colors spawning in, so the more bland or common colors are going to be spawning more often than like, the lime green jeep renegade would for example.
ive noticed that in some photos some cars are the same color, does that mean you havent made colors yet or not
I wonder if there will be one configuration or several? For example, there will be general traffic, and it can be divided into eastern traffic and western traffic, or something like that. It will be more interesting if it can be distributed among the main states, but it will take more time, and I think it will take a long time to find the right configuration.
ive made most of the colors already, there's a lot of repeat silvers, grays, and whites and generic colors like that though because 99% of them look exactly the same as another brands equivalent colors. So I didn't make those all specifically, unless its more of a cream white, or black with a purple hue. A lot of brands colors are close but not identical, and all the reds, blues, or other flashy colors have been made. There is a pretty wide selection already. for the initial release there will only be one, just the US traffic itself. I don't really feel like getting traffic data from each area of the country because its very similar everywhere for the most part. Obviously rural areas have more pickup trucks, and larger SUVs, f150s silverados and stuff, while citys have more hybrid/electric vehicles like teslas and priuses. I don't think i'll be doing different groups for now though, but if I do, I think the only applicable one would be a rural and urban group.
chance we could see more Ford maybe? like the 2001 F150 (more than just the svt lightning because there's plenty of mods for that 1 trim already) maybe even 2005 toyota corolla (not a single mod has one of these at all)
Did not meant to agree There all optimized and simplified. basely no interior, less beams and nodes, less detailed textures, etc etc. Plus there all parked, so no engines.
