How do I use the winch? EDIT: I'm an idiot. I didn't see the winch spots on the truck when I hit advanced.
I also have no idea how to use a winch. Why is it so insanely hard to get anywhere? And then when you get there you put some long logs on the truck and it makes it that much more difficult. Shifting is cool, views kinda suck.
Have had a lot of fun with Spintires, my only complaint is the camera control is awful. other than that it's a fantastic game.
Well. I restarted the game and chose an easier map, I am also in a much better mood than I was earlier. I also did myself a huge favor and actually read all the help stuff. I am having a much better time. I am having a great time actually. The only complaint I have is that you can't leave trucks idling if you switch to another. It automatically shuts them off. And with only some of the trucks, if you don't touch the gas they shut off, then when you touch the gas again they turn back on. that bothers me. This game is great.
While I agree that there should have been a map with the majority of the roads being tarmac, the game is supposed to be an offroading simulator.
Game runs smooth even on old pc and a weaker Laptop, impressive. Only big downside is the nigga camera view, cant handle with it. I hope Cockpitview will come fast^^

Yeah, the camera definitely needs improvement. I doubt that there will ever be cockpit/in-cab cameras (no truck interiors I guess) it would be awesome to have them. Also, webm does not work on taptalk, apparently. Sent from my XT897 using Tapatalk
The camera sucks, and there's "too much mud" also.....i know i know it's an off road game, but in some point the mud it's too deep and it is too easy to get stuck....or maybe cause i'm a noob... Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
Camera is fine imo, Also cockpit/in-cab cams will be coming in the next update (from what I heard) I know for a fact that they are working on it as well as support for steering wheels. Certain maps have a lot mud that's deep as hell, but other maps, such as the river map, one side of the map barley has mud considering its all roads. Some pictures of mine. Deep mud D: Decided to take out the 53' trailer... turns out they don't like mud that much. I love the mud on the cab though. Winch: Press V (for advanced steering) wait e second there will be a white dot at point on your truck where you could attach a rope. choose one and click it then there will be white points around your on every spot where you could attach the other end of the rope. choose one and click it. rope attached. pressing F pulls the rope
