Split Screen Multiseat?

I'm a huge fan of Beamng.drive, and a friend and I were using the new Multiseat option for the new update. It seems like it would be easier if the Multiseat option could be split screen with the use of an HDMI cable. We would deeply appreciate if you would use this suggestion and put it in an upcoming update.

 

The developers said in the AMA that they need to do something else before it can happen.

 

Would be useful if you use the search. Splitscreen has been discussed numerous times.
