Well since the buggy fad is in, I might as well get this going.

All the frame work and placement is by me, I'm using interior, suspension, motor from Gabesters Bolide, And for now, I am using Dkutch's wheels as an example, (hope you don't mind) I would like to use them for the Buggy itself but that's up to Dkutch.

    Name? Idk yet.

Getting it in game? I need a little help

Jbeam? Will be off of the Bolide. Just changed around.

But nobody helped me on this other than a little verbal support.

    Release? Hopefully soon.

*UPDATE - 3/10* shortened body, Moved fuel tank and tweaked some minor stuff. Another update soon!

*UPDATE - 3/20* So I've got it in game. took a few tries, and my locations and rotations are all set but i can't get it to line up and when I drive, everything moves around? Can i get any help?

I dunno if you should use the Bolide jbeam. They may look a bit similar, but the way they're built is completely different. This only has a rollcage and some thin body panels, while a Bolide has a full frame, underbody, and strong-ish body panels. Design wise, this looks really cool. Good luck!

Looks pretty good, but I have 2 complaints.

    1. Wheels are too small
    2. It's too wide/long IMO

Other than that, it looks great. Hope you (or someone else) will be able to jbeam this thing and get it running in game!

Well remember guys, it's a rally buggy, not a sand dune buggy. It's to compete with rally cars or something close. Trails, ya know? Tight suspension. Good handling, and horsepower! Lower to the ground. It's not just any old buggy. And the Jbeam, I'll have to see.

This thing looks awesome garebear! Good quality stuff in this thread woot. Keep it up. And yeah I'd personally not use the bolides jbeam. Just because they share shapes doesn't mean they share structural characteristics

Thanks! And suggestions on what Jbeam I should use. I'll probably need help from someone with that.

And remember what this is used for. The terrain set for this says that the wheels are not too small. That's how I want them :)

There isn't really any Jbeam that would fit it, so make your own, it would be much better(By the looks of it, easy as well) ;)

Nice work anyway, it looks good, but personally I'd like the rear end shorter.

I also think it's too long and wide, especially for tight rally tracks. For comparison, WRC cars have about a meter shorter wheelbase and are 60 cm narrower. It has a lot of wasted space, you could even fit a second row of seats in there. Why put the spare tire on the roof when there's space for several of them inside? Between the seats and engine would be the best place for the fuel tank, looks like it's above the diff now? I think it would look good with maybe half a meter or more cut from the frame length and some from the frame width.

And again, it would be easier to help if we knew what you need help with.

This has headlights, two seats and is not a crawler.
This and DrowsySam's are the only ones worth looking at.

    Re: Sport Rally Buggy!

I think everyone is looking at it wrong, It's the same size as the bolide. I made it that way for this exact reason. I did scale it though FYI.

    - - - Updated - - -

Thanks Sam! could you possibly give me some pointers? :)

    - - - Updated - - -

    1: getting in game,
    2: Jbeam.
    3: Some coffee :p

I tried to make it the same with a scale. But if i little shorter should be done, I'll work on it. Because a scale looks weird

And the fuel tank is behind the motor, but that is something i will change.

It looks like something pulled straight out of Mad Max...will you do a beaten up version of it to make it look more well been abused...

    Re: Sport Rally Buggy!

Well I don't think the Bolide is very suitable for it..

Ignore the butchered Photoshop if you can, but I think a shorter wheel base would be better. ;)

More short and compact like this.

    (imported from here)

Currently it looks too stretched out and long, and has lots of empty pointless space.

Thank you Sam. I'll try that at a later time (not home right now) but when I do I'll show you. And maybe I'll like it. It looks kinda cool. W
