You might know that there are mods for the H-series, D-series and the moonhawk , etc. so my idea was that if there are mods for the standard vehicles, why dont put it in the game?
Re: Re: Standard vehicle mods in game? I know what you mean but in one of whybeare's video's he did a mod for the d-series and i thougt the d-series is a standard car and iT looks super awesome so i want That mod in game without downloading it
I kust want the car modification in game without install and Just search whybeare beamng d-series on YouTube then u understand mee
Quite a few community mods have become part of the vanilla game, like the Spinner, and the pigeon's front suspension. Although it's a bit of a headache to implement community mods into a paid game, because there are issues that can arise about selling someone else's work as your own.
The spinner's author was hired as a dev, and completely remade. The pigeon's suspension was made after Drowsy became a Dev.
The D Series, H Series, Sunburst, etc are part of the full game. You cannot use mods in the 'free version'. A correction to what was stated above: The spinner was re-made by DrowsySam, who is a developer. Same goes for the Pigeon's front suspension. That would disqualify both of them from the 'community' label.
there are two cars in Assetto Corsa that are now official parts of the game, so it can happen. if there's something the devs think is worth including they can easily ask the author to include it (who wouldn't want their mod to be official?)
Cars from assetto corsa in beamng? I dont think this is true. In the past people have ported cars from AC to beamng, and they were removed because AC wanted them removed
