Steam cloud sync?

Last night I finally got around to redownloading Beam after my computer wet the bed... again. (This happened before 0.20, and it's taken me a large amount of time to redownload all my games simply because I lost motivation.) Today I loaded it up and there was no prompt regarding the mismatch between my local files and the Steam cloud, as there was the last time this happened.

Is there some way to find this prompt? I had hundreds of mods, including rare and/or outdated mods that no longer are or never were on the repo. I may be able to get them from an external drive backup but have not checked.

 

I'm pretty sure your mods folder isn't saved in the steam cloud

 

I know I have managed to restore mods from the cloud before.

 

I think that may have been because of the repo
