Redeemed my steam code without issue, working perfectly. Looking forward to seeing how Steam features are implemented in-game, and auto-updating will be excellent.
Why do I need to create a new account when I try to log in with Steam? I don't want two accounts :/ How do I link my steam account with my BeamNG account like it told me to?
First I click on this... Then I sign in with steam... (excuse the Danish) Then I get this. What. When I then enter all the information and stuff I get the old "There is already an account registered with this email, and this username and so on". It then tells me to sign in with steam... and the cycle repeats.
I'll get the key from steam in email? I completed everything and at the end asked me to make a new account and made that this is here, but do not know where I get my key to redeem on steam
sorry, the steam release seem to have broken a part of our system, we just fixed it and made the process much simpler. Please visit your order page again if you were not able to see your steam key yet. Sorry for the problems.
That isnt what happened for me, it immediately recognised me as SixSixSevenSeven and linked steam to my account after the steam login step.
That seems like a bad bug We removed the steam account link enforcement for now, so you can collect your code without it - please retry

Ah yes, I have noticed the steam version has lower framerate than the regular version, but it should get fixed with updates though. And at least I just get about 5 fps less than I usually do. My usual fps is around 50-80 on max settings. I do hope they fix the fps soon though, because it looks like the fps is much worse for other people.
For what it's worth; I had exactly the same problem, only to find out I wasn't logged in at this site...
I see that many people are complaining about framerate being worse on steam but when i downloaded and played i managed to get a higher framerate on higher settings. All in all I'm very glad this went onto Steam!!!
Me too...and on my craptop, I always keep PostFX and HDR etc turned off for FPS, but I noticed my FPS was about 10-20% better after the steam install, and I realized AFTER I appreciated the FPS jump that all the PostFX/HDR etc were turned on lol so I'd say that's a good thing (I did a complete system restore the other day, so that may have to do with MY particular FPS jump...it is welcomed tho, no complaints!!) EDIT I take it back...FPS was flying yesterday, and now its laggy as all hell. I take back my comment about the FPS with steam. Me no likey
well, now its time to move all of my mods over to the steam version, yup.. all 6.03gb worth of mods *explodes with joy* but its nice to have the official version in my library! and have a game before some steam users ;P now I really feel like early access! "Coming soon" "Fool! I have it now!"
I was able to get my copy of Beam.NG on Steam without any issues! It downloaded seamlessly, and after I get home from work I'll give it a whirl on Steam. Thanks guys!
