I hope this locomotive is more massive than the subway. If you strike a truck with that train you derails immediately --- Post updated --- Do you know at what point is the job now?
Do you know at what point is the job now? Of course, each of two trains has little mass\tonnage. Subway = 15 tons max (not more) Plannet class locomotive = 4 tons The 4-8-2 locomotive weighs 160 tonnes... we have a large different --- Post updated --- with 160 tons of metal, is very difficult to derails with a car, same for a truck.
Good job, you've set a spark that ignited a thread no one wanted at the top of the forum, considering the last reply was many months ago.
And exactly, they are suppose to weight alot more, the 15 ton might be the planet class but at 50-100 tons for the subway.
Subway trains and people carrying train cars, don't weigh that much. A steam engine or other diesel locomotive is rather heavy in comparison, with the amount of mass needed to contain and distribute such power, it's no suprise trains weigh as much as they do! Say, I see all these car accidents with trains, come to speak of, I was wondering something. Why in the Sam-hell does the train operator not simply swerve an errant motorist on the train tracks, I mean, even as a simple car driver I've got that part down-Pat. Maybe only idiots want to drive trains, *shrugs*. Maybe the train industry, strapped for cash so as it is, only buys cheapo-bargain-basement economy-class models that don't have power steering? Regardless of the answers or out-come I hope that the train(s) are still being worked on. It's quite fun to hit pianos with a choo-choo train, heh.
it says its the planet class, is it still going to look like the train the mod says? also I don't know how to get the planet class to more or stop making weird noises
