Steering wheel not recognised

Hello,
I have noticed that my wheel (Logitech G920) wasn't recognised by the game. This was not a first time setup, it has worked fine before.
After a driver reinstall and a confirmation that windows picked up the input correctly, I checked in Beamng drive but still, the wheel input didn't appear. Just to make sure, I also checked with mods disabled and after I cleared the cache, but to no avail.

Edit: I found a solution! I set Steam's input setting to "forced off".
