Even though I like Xbox more, the PS1 and PS2 were my childhood console. First time I ever touched a video game was when I was 3-4 years old. Original Gran Turismo on the PS1.
I myself would say my N64 was my childhood console, but I have so many more games on the PS2. I'll just say all my consoles in order of release: N64 (originally my sister's, they took it back, got a new one, lost MK64 tho) Nintendo Gamecube PS2 (Broke on vacation, got a new one) XB360 XB1
I never had any consoles growing up and I don't now. My cousin has one of those awesome leapfrog things though
I haven't ever had PS2, but I played it once or twice around 2013. For young me back then it was shockingly bad, because it seemed like even anything relatively new at that time could run better looking games. I still have my PSP 1000 series and PSP 3000 series. Few weeks ago I tried to bring both of them back to life, but sadly enough a battery died. To my big surprise it was the battery of 3000, who died, which I didn't expect, because it is like 3 or 4 years newer. Good news is that the battery of 1000 still runs well and holds charge surprisingly long.
Oh yeah, I also have a Wii, but I gave most of my games to a friend that plays it more often (aka I'm lazy). The same friend has a PS1, but I got a PS1 Emulator and my mother may be getting a PS1 console. Also, my dad has some Atari he said in a tote in a shack or something at the old house (funny story, my mother came in my room one day and was like "your PS2 controllers look just like the PS1 ones, so they will work on the PS1, right?" I was LMAO for a few once she left.)
I still have a PS2, no controllers though - the ones I had were cheap, wireless ones from Argos and they broke. i'm looking around for some genuine, wired PS2 controllers at the moment.
We had about 7 controllers. 2 had broken joysticks, my dad threw one across the room, and two of them are missing some buttons. And we dropped one in syrup or something sticky. Wonderful.
My dad has a ps2, which he uses rarely, and I play every now an then. He's got such classics as Burnout: Revenge and GTA: San Andreas Saw a ps2 in a goodwill a few weeks ago for $10, I kinda regret not picking it up. There was also an Xbox 360 for $20, but no cords.
Haha, I mentioned my PS2 here on the forums today. I still use mine. I own a GBC. They aren't valuable. Yet.
