Especially DJPlopper's Configuration pack. I either play the game WITH that mod or I don't play the game at all.

If you really want to use outdated mods, I believe you can just delete the “mod_info” folder inside the mod’s main .zip folder. You’ll have to install the mod manually, but you probably have to do that anyways due to the repository being under maintenance.

    Hope that helped!

There is some kind of protection in zip, so just removing mod_info is not enough, one has to repack the mod into new zip file and then it actually starts to work.

I had to do that for quite many mods to get possibility to activate/deactivate single mod.

I would have made this thread myself, but I was beaten to it. Please, make this some kind of tickbox, I am not going without DPMP.

I have that problem, too, tampering with a file with mod_info folder in any way corrupts it.

Now that repo is partially online single mod activating and deactivating works again, so no need to tamper mod files for that reason at least.

It is a feature that tampering mod's .zip file makes it not working, invalidates it.

Why do we need such a feature, anyone who has a slightest cue about modding can repack the mod and tamper with it anyway.

I wrote to update speculation thread about it, but for me there is only one reason, some form of player vs player mode, let it be uploading lap times or some part of career mode, maybe leader boards, who knows, maybe it is just in case if in a future they might venture to such direction. Such is only reason that I could figure out, but that is not to say there would not be some other reasons.

There is a fix for that. You'll have to unzip the files contained in the mod into Users/Documents/BeamNG.drive usually there is a folder called vehicles if it is a car mod or a folder called levels if it is a map mod

And turn off the auto mod updates as the game repo does not like the unpacked mods and it will kill your frame rate

We changed the behavior of updates now, modmanager will only disable mods with "Unsupported" tag.
Anything else is not changed, mod with "Unsupported" or "Outdated" tag won't appears on the in-game repo and will need to be installed manually
