Hm, yeah, I understand it can be difficult. But if you really want to fly, you will fly, don't give up. I'm sure you'll find a way, make sure to collect information from any flight school or similar you can find, and keep in mind the solution might be far from home.
I don't know how's the situation in Ukraine so I can't help you much further, sorry. But Good luck!

I did some research, and one of the ways is to go to the State Flight Academy of the Ukraine. It looks like a decent school with some nice history behind it. Or you can go to the Ukrainian Pilot School or the International Aviation Training Centre. Here's a link to all three. http://www.bestaviation.net/flight_school/ukraine/

I've got a few stories, one of my favorites almost killed me (those are the best though, lol).

I was on a solo cross-country, I think at this point I had like 5 hours of solo time and three x-c flights under my belt, anyways, it was supposed to be a simple hop from KMWH direct to KPSC and back to MWH, about two hours of flight time. After take-off I was departing to the south at 2,500', paralleling our longest runway, suddenly I got a frantic call from Tower: "Sport XXXX, you have traffic off your right, C-17, 2,400, caution heavy wake turbulence!" At this point my head briskly snaps to the right and all I can see out of the right windows is grey, I was so close to the departing C-17 that I could read the Airlift Command badges and see the aircrew in the cockpit, even the rotating beacon on the top of the fuselage was about to blind me. I simply replied; "Sport XXXX roger, I have that traffic in sight." 45 minutes later I almost passed out from hyperventilation, but that's another story.

My word! What a harrowing experience! On my long solo XC flight that I just did Friday, I got to see from the air a C-17 on the ground at KGYH! I'll attach the pic I took of it. It's the best I could get from 5,500 feet. I also got to fly in a C-17 as a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Thank you very much for inspiration! I'm jumping into research now.
Thank you for the info. I prefer looking on Ukrainian forums tho. Anyways, I'll check these links out ASAP.

I see whole queue lines of them waiting for take-off; nothing quite like taxing past a whole line of heavies to remind you that yes, you do in fact still fly a tiny 2,450lb Beechcraft. :/

While it is good, to be critical of it, I did like the 1st cover a bit better. I think it was just the placement of text and the little details of the date of edition that really pulled it all together.

Hooray! That's fantastic! Brilliant! Great job. Now you can tell us more stories, because I haven't flown in a while.

So, this is a thread for some new stories. I will start with a story when I did a cross-country in Arizona across the grand canyon. (Hint, I am a pilot in training and was at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.)

I started off at the Embry-Riddle airport, doing a fun little flight to the grand canyon. I was flying a 2015 Cessna 172, it had a G1000 in it. We took off and started off across some mountains, and passed a forest fire on the way. We landed near a dam, I might have been the hoover dam, but I'm not sure. I ate lunch and took back off. I had to fly around some nuclear reactor, so it was weird flying around the dam. But I flew past over the grand canyon and made it to the forest. There were some thunderstorms and my instructor said, "If we go fast enough, we might make it through.". The clouds were just tiny at this time, but the closer we got to the clouds, the bigger they got. We were almost to the airport when we started to see dust blow straight down on the desert ground. Then seconds later, we started falling @ 200 feet a second, a microburst had hit right above us. The G's made my chest fell like it was gonna explode. We got out of the micro-burst and landed. But I couldn't walk right for like 2 weeks.

BTW, i must introduce myself. I'm Cowboy905, and in 14. I'm trying to become an aerial firefighter, and i have been in ground school for two years. My name is Adam :D

(I'm also doing college right now, i was studying physics, but now I'm gonna transfer)

Welcome to our humble and inactive little club! You know, my father is still deputy fire chief of our local volunteer fire department. And I studied physics in college, as well. In fact, I have a degree in it! Although, my working degree is in engineering. What form of physics were you going for? Theoretical? Particle?

    Also, no story here. Sorry.

    Particle Physics, cuz air (jk).

I once flew over by the Air Harbour in Phoenix Arizona when it was pitch black, the ground looked like water at night. I do not live in Arizona, i just flew a lot when i was there. I live in Kansas, little tiny Kansas.
