Stuck in "Spawning Player"

    no and my WiFi card is so bad that I can't (my WiFi card just about died downloading the updates)
    I have gotten it to load like 4 times and the alt+u trick works but the menu doesn't show up so it's pretty pointless :(
    I guess I will never play the game

    I am also having the same problem. Just started today. No updates and I didn't add anymore mods to my game.

    You can get the menu to show up. The reason why it doesn't appear is because alt U turns the UI off. If you press esc with the UI on and then spawn a car or something and then press alt U again, you can kind of still use it :)

    The fact it started today makes me think it's something more on your side, rather than game (else it would have started much earlier - Also because it seems to happen to few people).
    Try to completely wipe the Documents/BeamNG.Drive folder (backup what you want, don't put anything back).

    so, I am having the exact same problem. I completely reinstalled my game, don't have any mods activated and nothing is in my launch options.

    The Support ID does not show traces of loading a level.
    Did you sent it after you replicated the problem?
    Because if not, you have to, or your logs won't show anything.

    I did. Also, I just tried something, when I tab out it shows me the car for a split second and then I go back to the loading screen.

    aaalllrrrriiiigghtttyyy...I have all of my graphics settings on low and my game is lagging at some certain points after reinstalling the game.
    CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 @3.4Ghz (4 Cores, 8 Threads)
    GPU: AMD Radeon HD7870
    No thermal throttling.
    Before the reinstall I was perfectly able to play the game at atleast 80fps.

    Nadeox is a really awesome tech support guy so give him a chance to help you, they're a small team and have seen most problems, but sometimes it takes more than one try.
    Obviously something you've done changed the symptoms, that's part of how to fix a problem.
    That system provided you have 8gb+ of RAM should run the game fine. Just make sure reflections are OFF (to get better fps when the game does run).
    Double-check there is nothing in documents\beamng.drive\mods folder at all (should be levels and vehicles folder, make sure those are empty).
    Sounds like a similar error to when the snow-maps were crashing the sound script it would stick at spawning player but you could still drive the car hidden by loading menu, in 0.9.x
    I wish you the best - this game is fun - wouldn't want to be without it - but Nadeox will have you fixed up in no time, just a little patience is required.

    We are currently checking the issue, trying to replicate it and etc.

    Meanwhile, could you try this:
    - Disconnect any controller/wheel you have
    - Launch the game (no mods enabled), and try to load Small/Pure Grid

    Also, how long are you waiting?
    Give it at least 1-2 minutes since the 'Spawning Player' and see if it goes away on it's own.
    If it doesn't, try to press ESC and see what happens.

    Yeah, well, I got a little annoying there. Same stuff, still doesnt work, after waiting 10 mins, but for now i'll just switch to Assetto Corsa untill the issue is fixed since I can't load a single map right now.

    Have no mods installed so that can't be the cause
    Gave it 3 minutes, nothing happened
    Pressed escape, then I came back into the menu, but when I press alt + u I get back into the game and can drive the car but have no UI

    Thanks for testing.
    I got some more stuff to test, until we figure this out.

    When you get stuck in that screen again, try pressing CTRL+L and see if something changes.
    If nothing happens, try CTRL+U > Click on the window that appears > CTRL+R ( It could take 2-3 times to catch up, you should see the game's UI reloading) and let know what happens.

    aaaaalllrrriiiiggghhhhtttttt. So, I just plugged my Wheel back in and tried to load in again, and every map loads just fine.... weird....
